Forbidden: Chapter 14

Hayes POV:

our eyes were locked and there was no turning back then.
"what do you want?!" i scream at her. i want to just die. this hurts so much. how could she? how could cameron?
"i wanna know who she is!" she sounded like she was crying but i had no idea because it was raining, and i had no idea what she was talking about.
"who is who?"
"don't play stupid hayes! the girl! your new girl! the one you found, remember?"
"what the-"
"no hayes! don't even go there! i don't wanna hear excuses. i want to know, WHO IS SHE?!" she shouted. people were staring now from the inside of stores and restaurants.
"there isn't a she! the only 'she' that i had in my life was you! but you didn't feel the same, so now what do i do? huh abbie? now what do i do? sit around and watch the girl i love fall for another guy?! not to mention one of my bestfriends?! what am i supposed to do, abbie? answer that for me." i shouted back.
"you stupid bastard! if you had known how i felt about you-no, if you had CARED about how i felt about you then we wouldn't be in the situation! but no-"
"woah woah woah, you're trying to blame this on ME? you've found two ways to kill me! first you throw a brick through my window that hit me in the f****** head and now you're dating my bestfriend. first try to forreal kill me then try to knock me dead on the inside! great abbie, just great! and this is all MY fault!" we were closer now. screaming back and forth and each other and jumping at claps of thunder. we were both hysterical by that point.
"what are you even talking about?! see that's your problem hayes! you always assume that people do things when they haven't done a thing!"
"like you're any better! i saved you! don't you remember that?"
"right hayes! the worst Colton could've done was yell at me!"
"not what you said when he almost broke your d*** wrist!"
"you know what? i didn't love colton! i loved you! that's right hayes, suck it on up! i love YOU! i dated Colton to get over your obnoxious self and it still didn't work! you show up on the first day of school and i fall right back over again just like you're tripping me! i loved you si-"
and that's when i crashed my lips onto hers.

Cams POV:

they were yelling at each other right there in front of everyone. she got right to his face and was yelling something when he did something that i never thought hayes would ever be brave enough to do: he grabbed her face with both hands and kissed her. after he pulled away, she looked at him then ran in the opposite direction.
