Forbidden: Chapter 10

Hayes' POV:

cam called at like 4 o'clock in the afternoon which he never does, so i knew something was up.
"hey bro, what's up?" I said upon answering. this was weird for cam.
"dude, I'm coming to your house right now. I have a lot to tell you." his tone was excited but with a tad of despair in it. this was so effing weird.
"um okay, i'll see you-"
"I'll be there in like 5 minutes, bye." he cut me off and hung up.
5 minutes later cameron pulled up. he sprinted to the front door and didn't bother to knock. he just walked in. Nash and I were just sitting on the couch staring at him in confusion. he was sweating and huffing.
"did you run here?" Nash asked raising an eyebrow.
"the AC went out in my car." he said wiping his forehead. then he proceeded to tell us how he went to Abbie's and what happened.
"so she's breaking up with Colton?" Nash was ecstatic.
"yes, but i sort of spilled the beans." cam said looking guilty.
"wait, what?" my stomach was in my throat. what did this idiot do?
"uh so i told abbie you were like in love with her..." he paused.
"AND?!" i practically yelled.
"she doesn't feel the same, I'm sorry. she only thinks of you as a friend and she's kinda creeped out."
"oh." I said unable to say anything else. I was so incredibly crushed. I couldn't cry in front of them even though I felt the tears burning in my eyes. I got up and sprinted to my room.
"hayes, wait!" cam screamed.
"just leave him alone cam. he needs to be alone, he'll be okay."
right, I won't be okay until she's mine. I love her so much, every time i look at her i fall in love. I love her smile and her laugh and the way she twirls her hair around her finger when she's concentrating. I love the way she talks and the way she walks and how her eyes flick back and forth when she's feeling self conscious even though she has no reason whatsoever to be. im not gonna be okay. this hurts way too bad to ever be okay.

Cams POV:

when I told him that lie, you could see the hurt in his eyes. his heart was broken. I feel like such a bad friend, but this girl is so hot. I want her. she will be mine. hayes will just have to get over it. then I heard someone scream, it sounded like hayes. we ran up to his room and were horrified by what we saw.
