Forbidden: Chapter 9

Cameron's POV:

I arrived at Abbie's house at exactly 3:55. I knocked and she answered immediately.
"hey cam." she said taking my hand and leading me in.
she walked over to the couch and sat down.i stood there awkwardly staring at her.
"well? what are you waiting for? sit down!" she snapped. I walked over and sat.
"how are you?" she was desperate for conversation.
"look abbie, you're like mega hot and everything and don't get me wrong I would totally hook up with you but I couldn't do that to hayes." I rambled. her face looked at me with an expression that said 'what on earth is this moron talking about'.
"uh well I'm totally flattered but this isn't about you and I, it's about me and Colton. well it was at least, now it's about what exactly you 'couldnt' do to hayes." she glared. I stared back into her eyes. "well? are you gonna say anything?" she was highly annoyed by this time.
"you tell me about you and Colton first." i countered. i was interested.
"tell me about hayes or get out." she fired back. she was a feisty one. and curves. so many curves. I wasn't talking because this girl was one fine piece of hotness in all honestly. i most certainly wasn't about to leave because what fun would that be?
"okay. well, hayes really likes you and he hates Colton obviously. and he wants to be with you but since you're like in love with Colton-"
"woah woah woah, I am not anywhere near 'in love' with Colton Rems thank you." she seemed to be even more annoyed at this point.
"well since you are with Colton he doesn't have a shot so-"
"who said he didn't have a shot?" she looked like she was about to stab me.
"would you stop interrupting and let me tell the story?" she nodded. "thank you, now where was I? oh that's right, hayes doesn't have a shot so now he's like depressed and he's doing everything to be with you." she just stared at me like she was waiting for something. "I'm done." I said to assure her.
"okay. he does indeed have a shot, and I won't be telling him anything of this conversation and you most certainly will not be either or I will have to kill you." she was dead serious. "anyways, you know Colton pretty well. how do i break up with him?"
the question shocked me. she was really gonna break up with him!
"uh, 'Colton it's over'?"
"no, you moron. the best way to break to with him."
"I'm not sure there is a 'best way' to breaking up with someone..."
"oh my god. just tell me what I should say." she was about to hit me, I could tell.
"let him down easy. like, do it when he gets out. like don't go to the hospital, and if you do don't stay for too long. then when he gets home do it the day after."
"thanks cam. you're the best." she gave me a hug even though I barely knew her, but hey, she was hot, so I went for it.
after that she walked me to the door. then I called hayes.
"dude, I'm coming to your house right now. I have to a lot to tell you."
