Forbidden: Chapter 17

Abbie's POV:

it was 3 weeks after the night of the argument in the rain. hayes and i were lying on the couch at his house. he was stroking my hair and watching Orange Is The New Black. he looked down and smiled at me with just his lips.
"what?" i said looking up at him. i was laying on his stomach.
"you're just so beautiful. and the best part is that you're mine." he says bending down and kissing me. it was sort of an upside down kiss since i was laying down and he was propped on the arm of the couch. i smiled at him.
"see? you did it again." he said grinning.
"did what?"
"made me fall in love all over again." i blushed. then Nash came in.
"oh look, it's the love birds." he said rolling his eyes as he walked down the steps into the loving room with magazine in hand.
"what are you doing?" i said sitting up.
"well this is my house too, so im sitting on the couch." then Skylynn busted in the front door.
"abbie!!!!" she screamed while running to me. i stood up.
"sky!!" i yelled back as she jumped into my arms. then Mr and Mrs.Grier walked in.
"hey abbiedab!" Mr.Grier said. that was his nickname for me. he hugged me. "how ya doin pretty girl?"
"haha, im good! how about you?"
"pretty good, just old." we laughed.
"hello abbie!" his mother said while hugging me also.
"hey!" i loved Hayes' family.
"you staying for dinner?" hayes asked.
"if it's okay with your parents." i smiled at him.
"mom? dad?" he looked at them.
"you didn't have to ask! you're part of the family now abbie!"
"well, i guess i will then. my parents are out of town camping now anyway. let me just text mason and tell him there's money for pizza."
"sounds great!" his mom exclaimed.
"abbie abbie abbie!!" sky said jumping up and down.
"sky leave her alone." hayes gave her a look of disgust. i hit him on the arm.
"don't listen to him, he's a yucky boy. ugh!" i said sticking my tongue out. she nodded.
"hey sky, My Little Pony is on in my room upstairs." Nash said pointing upstairs.
"why were you watching My Little Pony?" hayes laughed.
"i wasnt, mom and dad texted me about 5 minutes before they came home saying they were about to be here with Sky. so i turned it on for her. doofus."
"likely story." i smirked at him.
"hey abbie, you wanna go on a walk?" hayes says intertwining our fingers.
"yeah, sure." he led me out the door
"there's someone i want you to meet." he said as we walked down the street.
