Forbidden:Chapter 15

Abbie's POV:

there we were, standing in the pouring rain screaming at each other with about 100 people watching from store windows.
"you know what? i didn't love colton! i loved you! that's right hayes, suck it on up! i love YOU! i dated Colton to get over your obnoxious self and it still didn't work! you show up on the first day of school and i fall right back over again just like you're tripping me! i loved you si-"
and then our lips were connected. i kissed back but when we parted i just looked at him and ran. what was i supposed to do? it was still pouring and i was running as hard as i could.
i was shaking, not because i was cold from the downpour but because hayes actually kissed me. i was so confused. cam said he had found someone else. then the car pulled up. then the window rolled down.
"abbie?" jack said.
"uh hey jack.." it was jack gilinsky, one of the most attractive guys in our grade. we had been friends awhile back.
"what are you doing? it's pouring."
"oh really jack? i thought it was a light drizzle."
"sorry, sorry. get in abbie. for god's sake, don't you have a car?" i slammed the door of his solid black jeep.
"yeah, in fact it's a cherry red BMW convertible."
"well why don't you drive it then?" jack was always a good friend of mine. but we hadn't talked over the summer so it was kind of awkward.
"i will, once i get my license."
"you're almost 17 abbie."
"yeah, i procrastinated and didn't read the booklet thing until now. just drive jack. i don't have time for this."
he drove me home and we talked for awhile in my driveway. we had school the next day so i told him to drive safe and he left. but the whole time i was thinking about hayes.

Hayes POV:

she ran. she ran so fast and i tried to catch up but i couldn't because cam stopped me.
"what the **** was that?!" he screamed at me.
"ya know, i think you should be the one to explain things cameron. because things are not quite adding up from your side." i was so angry.
"look, just go home. i have school tomorrow and so do you."
"no cameron. don't you dare pull that. explain to me right now."
he told me what he had told abbie and it all made sense. i punched him in the jaw before i could think about it and walked back to my car. cameron just sat there staring back at me in shock.
