Hey, sorry I haven't been as active but June is the last month of uni and it's currently a huge mess. Plus anatomy is getting all of my time.
I will try to upload whatever I have whenever I can. Thanks for understanding. Our whole life,
we are dreaming
to find the person
whom will escort us
in the crazy journey
we have to go through.
All our life,
we seek to find
our one and only,
that person who
was “made” just for us,
the perfect fit to
each and every
broken edge we have,
the missing piece
that’s needed
in order to
complete our puzzle.
But what if
we got it all wrong?
We keep falling in love
with people
and things keep falling apart.
We keep giving them everything, sacrificing our happiness
to save them,
to fix them.
We keep letting people in,
I never let people in
and I let him.
He knew that
but he chose
to hurt me instead.
It’s a never ending circle,
really.
But what if
that circle it’s not the thing
that’s meant to mend us together
but break us down even more
and we are too blinded
to realise it
because we are too caught up
in this insane illusion?
What if love
is the thing that destroys us completely?
Is love truly worth that entire struggle?
Losing yourself
piece by piece
in the hopes
of someone finally
loving you
the way you deserve to be loved?
Isn’t love just a tragedy after all? Because you are not
supposed to destroy
the person that you love,
you are really not,
yet
that’s what keeps happening
when you allow
your walls to come crumbling down for love.
Even the greatest love story
of all time
was just a plain tragedy.
What if
the greatest tragedy
of Romeo and Juliet
wasn’t that they died?
What if
people are really
not meant to be
together forever?
What if
all of these are true
but we keep trying?
What if
the most ironic tragedy
of it all is
that we know
that all these are possibly true,
yet we still dream
for a happy ever after?
We all die anyway,
death is the only certainty
in this life
and everything
we ever did truly goes to waste,
so why rip your soul apart
and make your heart
endure all that pain for love?
We are hopelessly hoping aren’t we? And isn’t that sadly pathetic.I hope you enjoyed this.
Thank you for reading this, maybe leave a vote and a comment?Xoxo
Amalia
