Promposal ~ Sam Golbach

Going to Prom was something you never wanted to do. You hated the idea of the trouble of choosing the perfect dress to match your dates. Or having to get a hair appointment or wearing a cake face full of make up. It was too much for you, your body, your head, and your pores. But that all changed when you started dating Sam. Sam was the type of guy to do anything to make a girl happy. You changed you decision and wanted to get your hair done at a hair salon or get your face caked up with make up or wear a dress to match your boyfriends because you had a boyfriend you wanted to impress. The problem was Sam hasn't asked you yet. You were sad that you wouldn't be able to go with your friends or Sam to prom.

Mean while Sam was trying to find the perfect way to ask you. He couldn't decide with Spider-Man your favorite Marvel super hero or Disney. He needed help and needed to talk to Y/BFF/N
"What bitch?"
"I need help deciding what to do for a Promposal for Y/N"
"Do a Disney one, bitch. She'll love you forever."
And that that Sam hang up and began the mission of watching Disney movies to get song lyrics.

After four hours of going through YouTube looking up Disney songs turning it into a song.
It went like this:
"Open your eyes to a whole new world,
I want to be where the people are, seeing them dancing,
This is Love and I'll touch every star for you if you will say yes to prom"
It was a mixture of "Whole New World" from Aladdin, "Part Of Your World" Little Mermaid, and "This is Love" form Cinderella. He was honestly happy about how it turned out.

You were at home finishing up homework when you heard your door bell ring. You opened the door and saw Colby.
"Hey Best Friend."
He smiled.
"Hey Colbs. What's this?"
You asked.
"I wanted to hang out. Come on let's go to the mall and get some lunch."
Colby said. You shut the door and walked out following Colby to the car. Behind you Sam snuck into your house to set up for your proposal.

"So What first?"
"Ummm. Food."
You pointed to pizza and Colby nods. You sit down at a table and look on your phone. You noticed you got no texts from Sam about anything. You went into Instagram and saw that Y/BFF/N and Colby were going to Prom together because Colby finally asked. You decided to text your.

You: heyyyy girllyy

-BEST FREN SIGNED ON-
BEST FREN: hai

You: So he finally asked?

BEET FREN: Yeah. I was so happy. I cried.

You: Well.... nothing for me.

BEST FREN: he hasn't asked?

You: nope 😐

BEST FREN: well. You just have to wait until he does or just go by yourself.

You: I'm at the mall right now with Colby

BEST FREN: you with my mans?!

You: Yeah, Idk why tho.

BEST FREN: I do.

You: WHAT?! Tell me.

-BEST FREN SIGNED OFF-

You: Bruh

-YOU HAVE SIGNED OFF-

You look up and lock your phone. You see Colby walking towards you with two trays of food. You sigh and help him with the trays. You set them down and sit down. You ate the food in silence.

You walked around the mall and decided to stop in a store to look for a prom dress. Although you weren't going, you could still look at them.
"Come on!"
You smile dragging Colby into the store.
You look around and see all the pretty dresses. A lady walks over to you guys.
"Do you guys need any help?"
She asks.

"No we-"
"Yes, I was wondering if she could try on a few dresses."
Colby interrupts you. You look at him in confusion. The lady nods and takes you guys to the dresses.
"What the heck Colby? I was just planning on looking at them."
You say hitting his arm.
"What's the point in that? Looking st dresses you wish you could wear? Just look at some and buy the one you like."
He says shrugging.
"I don't have the money."
You argue.
"I'll pay it."
He says.
"No it's ok"
"I'll pay"
"No"
"Yes"
"No"
"Yes"
"Fine"
He smiles as the lady pulls out dresses for you to try on. A few you choose and take them into the dressing room.
One of the dresses was a long princess dress with beading slog the bra area and sparkles on the skirt it was blue and it made you feel like Cinderella.
A different dress was a short one and was black with some sparkle and a belt. It was cute though.
You tried on different dresses until you saw one that caught your eyes.

It was a pretty pink and it showed little stomach. You put it on mad showed Colby.
"You look really pretty."
He says smiling. You look down and twirl in the dress.
"Yeah. Too bad I'm not going."
You frown.
"Well you can go with Y/BFF/N and me."
Colby says.
You shook your head no.
"I don't wanna be a third wheel. And it's ok. Prom just isn't my thing I guess."
You say turning around walking back to your dressing room.

I know it's not short but it's not long either.

YES! Finally updated.
I'm very sorry. I have been suffering from writers block and moving homes for the summer is stressful.

If I can bring my phone to the boys and girls club that I go to I might be able to update there.

Anywho, I'm back. It might not be for a while but I will update again.
