Pregnant ~ Colby Brock

You had a boyfriend of 9 months. You guys are in love. Well. Were. What had happened to make you fall out of love was Colby. You and him met at a party one night in college. You found him attractive. He found you attractive. You guys had a one night stand. But to you both it wasn't that. It was the beginning of a relationship. The first time it was a mistake. You thought it meant nothing to him. But the next 7 times weren't. You guys were in love. However, you still had a boyfriend. And on top of that you had been throwing up for the past two weeks. You had been ignoring your boyfriend, James. He didn't know why, but you were.

It had been a couple weeks since you and Colby last had sex. It had been two months since your last period. You had weird cravings and was throwing up a lot. So you put it altogether and decided to buy a pregnancy test. You walked into the pharmacy and walked straight to the aisle. You bought four pregnancy tests. You walked to the cashier. She scanned them and kept looking at you.
"What?"
You asked taking the bag from her.
"Noting. It's just, ever heard of birth control and a condom?"
She said. It was a snarky comment to you buying the pregnancy tests.
"Ever heard of shutting up and minding your own business?"
You snapped back. She was taken back from what you said.
"$5.50"
She said handing you the bag
You threw a 10 dollar bill at her.
"Keep the change"
And with that you walked out of the pharmacy and went to your car. You sat in your car staring at the pregnancy tests. You didn't know what to do if you actually were pregnant. Colby wasn't the type of guy to leave you if you were pregnant, but there is always a possibility that he could leave. You didn't know what you were going to tell James if you were pregnant. You decided for the best decision.
"Hello"
His voice made you silent.
"Hello? Y/N?"
You shook your head.
"Hey Colby.."
You answered.
"What's wrong? You sound like you might cry."
Only him would know, and you love him for that.
"I need you to come to my house. We need to talk"
And with that you hung up. You started your car, but you didn't move. You didn't know what to do. But you had to go home to talk to Colby about if there really was a fetus growing inside your uterus. You began down the road.

You arrived home and took the bag in your hand and exited your car. You see Colby's car along the curb meaning he was inside, you gave him a key for if anything happens he can get in fast. Not even James has a key. You walk into the house and shut the door. You turned around and Colby was watching Sponge-Bob and making pizza. You smile and set the bag down.
"Hey baby."
Colby said and kisses your cheek. Heat approaches the cheek he kissed.
"We need to sit down."
You said getting serious. He nods and shuts off the microwave and tv. He sits down on the couch with you. You had the bag sitting on the coffee table.
"I understand if you are mad and if you want to leave me. And I understand if you don't want to be apart of this."
You say. You could feel your heart beating faster in your ears.
"Okay?"
He asked unsure.
"I'm pregnant. And I know it's your's because I haven't had sex with James since I've met you. I understand if you don't want any part with the baby. If there even is a baby. And I know we are young and I'm sorry."
You say about to cry.
You look up and see Colby looking at you with a smile.
"What?"
You asked in a whisper.
"I'm going to be a dad?"
He asked with a smile. You nod. You feel arms around you and you become one into a hug with Colby. Not the reaction you were thinking of.
"I will never leave you. But we have a problem."
Colby said. You looked at him.
"Hmmm?"
He grabbed your hands.
"James."
He said. You sigh and nod.
