Era's POV
"I knew you'd ask for it sooner or later." The HM said smiling softly at me.
Cross looked at me. "I-i just want to know who I really am, and if that book is the only way, then I have to find it." I said.
The HM nodded. "I'd wanna know too." Napakunot noo naman akong tumingin sakanya. "But you said knew me. Specially me. And Serenity told me after the entrance exam that you could know everything about anyone with just a single touch."
The HM chuckled. "That's right." She said. "But that "anyone" doesn't include you. I only knew whose aura radiates from you. But I can't confirm it yet, not until you've found the book."
"Whose aura radiates from her?" Seryosong sagot naman ni Cross. Tinignan naman ni HM ang magkahawak naming kamay, pilit ko syang pinapabitaw pero mas humihigpit lalo ang hawak niya dito.
"It's gonna happen after all." Makahulugan niyang sabi at tumawa ng bahagya.
"Just find the book, Era." HM seriously said. "Kaya nga bibigyan ko kayo ng mission."
"What mission?" Cross chimed in.
Bumukas ang pintuan ng infirmary. "Caiser?" Naguguluhang sabi ko. "And Serenity? Anong ginagawa mo dito?" Serenity smiled and waved shyly. "Sasamahan ko si Caiser." Sabi niya habang pinulupot niya ang kamay niya kay Caiser. Ah. Ganong level ng landian napala sila. I nodded as I got her signal.
Caiser smiled at me. "Hi again, Era." I could feel Cross' grip tightening on my hand. Caiser looked at Cross. "Hi din.... Kuya." Pagbati niya kay Cross.
"Don't call me that." Cross spat. "You're not my brother." Sabi niya at nagdilim ang mukha niya. Oh. That's it. The kind of sibling relationship they have.
"Why are you here? You don't belong here. You belong in the darkness together with your kind! Hindi ka namin kailangan dito." Caiser just nodded with a small smile on his face as if agreeing with Cross. "Calm down, Cross." Sabi ko naman. Ganon nalang ba kalaki ang galit niya sa mga may dark magic? Kahit ano pang nangyari, he's still his brother.
Bumuntong-hininga si Cross and he squeezed my hand. "That's why he's here, Cross." HM started explaining. "I need you and the Mystics to escort him sa Dark Academia. He can't stay in the human realm forever. He needs to be where he belong.
