Era's POV
Puting kisame ang unang bumati saakin pagmulat ko ng aking mga mata. I felt someone caressing my hand kung kaya't dahan-dahan ko itong tinignan.
I smiled when I saw Cross' face. He looked sad but when he gazed at me and saw me awake, his eyes sparkled with happiness. I sat up on the bed as he supported and helped me up.
"Princess." He greeted and smiled at me. "How do you feel?" Nag-aalalang tanong naman niya.
Bumuntong-hininga ako para mawala ang bigat na nararamdaman ko. "I feel okay." Sabi ko naman.
"I'm sorry..." He whispered as our forehead's touch. I smiled under my breath. "Para saan?" Tanong ko naman.
"This is all my fault. Kasalan ko na nangyari 'to sa'yo." Paghingi nya ng tawad. He looked at the bracelet on my wrist. "This bracelet is useless."
Akmang tatanggalin nya ito pero pinigilan ko sya. "Don't take it off! This is the first thing that you gave me."
"But it's useless! It can't even protect you! I can't even protect you!" He said, irritated.
Napangiti naman ako dahil don. "It isn't. Loreal used restricting vines on me that even my magic became useless. It's not this bracelet's fault, nor yours." I explained softly.
He exhaled and looked at me with sadness in his eyes, and a pout. Napatawa naman ako ng bahagya dahil sa ka cute-an niya. I caressed his cheek softly and he held my hand that did that while smiling.
"You're such a baby girl." I teased.
Kumunot naman ang noo nya. "You think that's gonna offend me?" He said and nudged my hand in his face gently which made me laugh. "I am your baby girl."
Busy kaming nagtatawanan nang biglang may umubo. Napatingin naman ako sa paanan ng kama ko sa may pintuan. I saw Serenity's disgusted look.
"Ganon? Walang respeto eh noh?" Sabi ni Serenity at inikutan kami ng mata.
"I didn't even know you were there!" Pagtatanggol ko naman sa sarili ko.
She looked offended. "Nakipag-landian kase agad!" Sabi naman niya.
Tinawanan ko naman sya. "You should visit your guy." Sabi ko naman. I felt Cross' aura darken beside me kaya tinignan ko uli sya.
I saw Serenity go out to give us space. "Why do you hate him so much?" Pagbasag ko ng katahimikan.
"He has dark blood in his veins, Era." Seryoso nyang sagot.
