Jimin was on his phone, sitting on a monoblock as he waited for a customer to come. The male had two part-time jobs: a cashier at a convenience store and a cashier at a gift shop.

All of his jobs payed in minimum wage, making it hard for Jimin to make a living. With the amount of jobs he was holding tight onto, he didn't have any time or day to rest. He sometimes even had to go to work on Sunday to fill in for absent co-workers.

While the blond continued to search for a real, full-time job on his phone, the bell chime of the door sounded, indicating the arrival of a new customer.

Jimin was quick to shove his phone back deep into his pocket, a fake smile automatically drew on his lips as he stood up to greet the customer. As his eyes made its way to the customer, they grew incredibly wide when--

"Min! I have great news!"

In came Taehyung, his boxy smile displayed on his face. The male was wearing a red sweater and had an adorable beanie on, hiding his silver hair. He ran towards the counter where Jimin was, the blond smiled as he rushed out of the counter and tackled his best friend.

"Hey Uncle Tae! Minnie missed you," Jimin whispered, nuzzling his face deep into the crook of Taehyung's neck. It had almost been two weeks since their last meet up, which was at the coffee shop. They had been very busy and preoccupied, Jimin with his bills, and Taehyung with work and Jungkook.

He missed his best friend dearly, thus, he was pulled into little space almost immediately as he saw him strutting inside the shop. Taehyung took notice of Jimin's sudden nickname, concluding that he was indeed in a different head space.

"Hey there little one! How have you been? Both Uncle Tae and Taehyung missed you a lot," Taehyung whispered, hugging his best friend back with the same intensity. He was stroking the elder's back, trying his best to console Jimin.

Jimin was a very sensitive and fragile person when in little space. So it was no surprise to Taehyung when he felt the male's waterworks bursting, making his neck wet.

After a whole minute of Taehyung comforting Jimin, the little finally pulled out of the hug. His cheeks and eyes were puffy and his nose was runny, making him look like a sad little cutie pie. Taehyung immediately cooed, pinching Jimin's cheeks lightly.

"Minnie, you do know that Uncle Tae loves you when you're little right?" Taehyung gently asked, combing Jimin's soft and fluffy hair. He was attempting to pull Jimin out of little space. The boy was still at work, and let's just say that the incoming customers weren't going to be so fond of seeing an 'adult baby'.

That reason aside, he still needed Jimin in his normal head space because he was going to tell him something really, really important.

"Uh-huuuh! Uncle Tae also said that I was beautiful and handsome little or big!" the little beamed, his pearly white teeth coming into the scene as he smiled widely. Taehyung tousled his best friend's hair, praising him for remembering such information.

"Can you be big for Taehyung, Jimin? Taehyung needs to speak to big Jimin because of something very important."

At the loss of his nickname, Jimin pouted slightly, but nevertheless forced himself to go back into his normal head space. He exhaled, before looking back to Taehyung with a hint of a smile on his face.

"Taehyung."

"Hey there!" Taehyung smiled, relieved that little Jimin didn't throw a tantrum when he was asked to go in big space.

"Sorry, I got carried away when you came. What's up?" Jimin smiled, going behind the counter once again. Taehyung smiled knowingly before putting a wad of cash on Jimin's counter.

The blond's eyebrows knitted in confusion, the money his best friend placed was coincidentally half of the money he needed to pay for the apartment's monthly rent and other bills.

"Taehyung . . . where the hell did you get this?" Jimin asked, suspicion dripping in his voice like acid.

"I got you a roommate!" Taehyung said, voice excited and cheery as he told Jimin the good news.

"What? I didn't even let you in my apartment with somebody else!" Jimin said, crossing his arms. Taehyung took a familiar duplicate key from his sweatpants' pocket, spinning it on his index finger.

The puzzle pieces started to connect, and everything started to make sense to Jimin.

"His name is Min Yoongi and he's 25 years old. He's not a loud person, I promise! You wouldn't even feel as if you had somebody else in the house," Taehyung smiled, giving Jimin a cheeky wink.

With no other choice, the elder sighed as he grabbed the money and put it in his pocket. He wasn't in the position to complain as he really needed the money, and Taehyung had really made it his mission to help, how could he get upset?

He smiled at his best friend, heart warming up at the man's kindness.
