SIX YEARS LATER

"That's it for your title track! Practice it well, yeah?" Jimin said, looking at the four teenagers in front of him. BigHit's new rookie group nodded, their hair bouncing as they did so. The male smiled at the cuteness of the kids and opened his arms for the young boys to hint that he wanted a group hug. The group didn't hesitate to rush to Jimin's arms, chuckling as he stumbled a bit backwards.

"Oh dear," he laughed, petting the boys' heads. He said words of encouragement to the males as they were really nervous for their first comeback after debut.

Once that was over with, he left the group inside the practice room. Another dance teacher was going to watch the boys and help in polishing the newly learned dance moves they got from Jimin, one of BigHit's resident dance choreographers and teachers. He was taking half the day off because he was going to a very important party that afternoon.

"Jiminie!" Hoseok called, the younger whipping his head to his friend.

"Hyung!" he chirped as he stopped in his tracks. He was about to go to the restroom when his Hoseok hyung approached him. Like Jimin, Hoseok was a dance teacher in BigHit. Although, he has been there longer than the younger, who only started choreographing and teaching a year ago.

"Remind your man that you're going to Joohyuk's birthday party in a few, okay? Kid's gonna be so sad if his uncles are incomplete!" the older reminded. Jimin nodded, his black hair bobbing up and down. After years of hair dyeing, he decided to change back to his original color. His boyfriend liked it as well so everything was good.

"Also . . . has he surprised you yet?" he continued. Hoseok soon panicked when he saw the smile from Jimin's plump lips morph into a sad frown.

"Oh baby, that's okay! Maybe he just has stuff to do?" the older said, his statement sounding like a question. Jimin huffed and crossed his arms on his chest, "He had so much time today to greet me even through text, but he hasn't!"

"Eh, you know how the guy works. He might still be working on something! Or- or he might surprise you and stuff—"

"Surprise?" Jimin asked, cutting Hoseok off. The older nodded with a smile, thinking he had made Jimin get his point.

"But- but he never surprises me this late during our anniversary! He always makes sure to greet me early in the morning and take me out for the rest of the day. But this time, he doesn't even bother giving me an anniversary kiss!" the younger cried. Hoseok, who was smiling, then looked worried.

"Don't think that way Jimin—"

Hoseok was cut off by the sound of a phone ringing. Jimin felt his vibrate in his pocket, and so, he decided to fish it out. His face lightened once he saw Yoongi's name in the caller ID. 'Finally!', he cheered in his mind. He quickly answered the call, a wide grin plastered on his lips.

"Babe! Why'd you call?" Jimin asked. He had on a look of expectancy visible in his features, he was waiting.

"Hi baby! Just wanted to tell you I can't join you in going to Jin hyung's place. I will come though! I'm just running late because of work here in the studio, go with Hobi yeah?"

But nothing came.

Jimin, who was very frustrated with his partner's actions, started to get teary-eyed. He hated getting so frustrated, it always had him crying. Hoseok looked at him with pure concern.
