Nothing is permanently attached, it is all about choices!
Aysha asked if I had tried casting away the evil spirit in the past and I told her my encounter with a wannabe mallam. My parents had taken me to him, hearing that he was best at casting away jinns in the city. There was something odd about his place because he had red and black curtains with cowries all over..... Maybe he just love tradition, we had thought, we were never the type to judge
His beards was six inch long which he frequently use his fingers to comb, after staring at me for a while, he told my parent that the jinn might be the death of me if not taken care of on time, we all panicked and he told us to calm down that he had a solution, we heaved a sigh of relief and he told my parent to excuse us which they did after a long hesitation
He had asked about my name and I had told him, he then said that I should take off my hijab which I refused to take off, after several threats and me being young and dumb then I did, he had asked me to lay and I asked what for but then he said the next time I question his order I'd regret the consequences, I laid flat on my back and he began to take off his clothes, being young I didn't know what he was doing and I only stared, he stood in his birthday suit and had a smirk on his face
"What are you doing?" I asked "You are a very beautiful girl, now promise me you won't tell your parents about this or I'd kill you" he threatened ignoring my question "Now come here" he said holding my hands "Leave me alone" I said trying to free myself after all my struggles, he effortlessly held me down laughing
"Leave my wife alone" I said in the jinn's voice which was deeper than a man's voice, fear flashed in his eyes and I smirked. Next thing I know, he was pinned against the wall held high by his neck "How dare you try to share her with me?" I asked laughing and he shiver in fear and pleaded "Please, I'm sorry" he begged "Sorry?" I laughed
"Sorry isn't enough" I said tossing him up and leaving him to fall on his face "I only do trades" I said looking at him with a smirk "I'd take that" I said pointing below "And I hope this serves as a lesson" I said laughing as he begged which I unreluctantly ignore and took it walking away, I said ashamed
"Hahaha..." Zaynab started laughing "What's so funny?" They all asked and she kept quiet "But honestly I hope it serves as a lesson to all those fake mallams that only ruin Islam" Asiya said and we all nodded "Where is he now?" Aysha asked pitifully, she's the most softhearted amongst us "I don't know maybe dead" I replied bluntly "That is such a pity" Aysha said shaking her head "Hah serves him right" Zaynab said "ZAYNAB!" We all called out "What?" She asked with a shrug

"Babe you're falling my hand oh! Why don't you date him already? I mean everyone literally knows that this guy loves you very much" Linda said for the nth time "Linda I already told you that I am not interested" I said rolling my eyes "That is what you say all the time, can't you see that he has the husband potential in him?" She questioned "So now you have suddenly possess the power of seeing the future, well done madam husband potential" I mocked
"That is not even funny" she said rolling her eyes making me laugh at her reaction "Please just give him a chance" she pleaded with a puppy face "Linda I would but knowledge comes first besides we just got here and it is our first year, can I at least have an experience?" I asked "My dear time waits for no one" she said like she was advising me which she was anyways
"I dunno man but I am not ready for any sort of attachment" I said sincerely "No one is talking about attachment here" she said sitting beside me as my bed dipped, how crazy is she to climb up bunk knowing so well it might not handle our weight
"What is the purpose of dating someone you have no future with?" I asked"You too dey talk abeg, see as I dey take paracetamol for person headache" she fumed "Oya no vex na, I'd meet him tonight but if I don't like his personality then I'd happily stay single" I said and she smiled "E be like say this Abba don bribe you abi?" I asked and she chuckled "No oh! It's not like that" she said but then again who doesn't know Linda and awuf
Linda fixed my hair and got me dressed, claiming I gotta look good for 'Abba' I called him and told him about our date and he sounded really excited, I really hope this goes down in the drain, Linda would never just understand
