Chapter twenty-six

Your POV

I walk out of the hall and onto the field. I here everyone cheering. I keep my straight face and head up high. I watch Bakugou walk up into the arena. I gulp and walk up into the arena too. We stand about ten feet away from each other.

"Ready?!" Present Mic yells.

"Just so you know" I say. "If I don't win this round, then you have to win the tournament"

I crouch down and hold my hands up.

"START!!!" Present Mic yells.

Bakugou uses both of his hands to create a large explosion. I quickly teleport behind him quietly. The smoke clears and he notices I'm gone. He looks around confused before he turns around to me. I put both of my hands together a blast a huge flare of blue fire towards him. It dies down and my breath hitches as I look down at my burning hands.

My costume allows my hands to last longer than this.  The smoke clears and he is far away from me. His arms are crossed to block his face from my fire. My vision began to stir, things were moving everywhere. I close my eyes tightly. No no no no!! Not now!!!!

Bakugous POV

I throw my hands to the side and begin to sprint towards (Y/N). She just stands there and has her eyes shut tightly. I begin to worry about her before I brushed it off. Stop thinking like that. I have to win!

Before I throw explosions at her, her eyes open up wide. I skid to a stop and step back.

"WHAT THE FUCK?!" I yell.

"What's wrong Bakugou?" She asks wickedly. "Can't handle a little craziness?"

I smirk at her "How much you want to bet?"

I say before lunging at her. She quickly dodges and was about to throw fire at my back but I turn around quickly and explode her. She is pushed back. She immediately teleports somewhere, not again. I whip around and create explosions behind me. I hear her yelp slightly.

I feel a kick to the face and I'm thrown to the side a little. She lunges at me again, I don't want to hurt her so I dodge her punch and grab her arm. Her eyes widen slightly in shock. I throw her across the arena hopefully getting her out of bounds. I watch her skid across the arena. Before she goes out of bounds, huge wings sprout from her back creating a parachute. The wings uses the wind to stop her from going out of bounds.

She growls and glares at me before creating two blue orbs in her hand. I realize that they are fire spheres. I put both of my hands together and create small explosions to start up my huge explosion. She puts both of the orbs together created a huge sphere in front of her. She launches the fire towards me so I create a huge explosion to hold it off. The explosion and fire gave off such a bright light and hot aura that we nearly burnt down the place. She keeps going so I do as well.

I begin to struggle and realize if she gets to me then I could die. I push my hands out further to make the explosion strong and over powering. The explosion reached (Y/N) and smoke surrounded both of us. I pant heavily and catch my breath. The smoke eventually clears as I stand in the middle.

"(Y/N) (L/N) is out of bounds!!" Present Mic yells.

"Katsuki Bakugou wins!!!" The inappropriate lady yells.

I look around and see a beat up (Y/N) on the ground. My body reacts before my brain does and I begin to sprint to her. I jump down the stairs and kneel down to her level. I look at her face. It's holds a relaxed and calm emotion but her face seems to be slightly burnt.

"Hey!! Hothead!!! Wake up!!!!" I yell.

She doesn't wake up so I pick her up princess style.

"Bakugou seems to be caring for his opponent!! What a man!!!" Present Mic yells.

I blush and run down the hall. I run to the nurses office and see an old hag sitting at a desk.

"Oh dear! Set her down! Quickly!" She says.

I set (Y/N) down on the bed and the old lady nudges me out.

"NO! IM NOT LEAVING!!" I yell.

"She won't be able to heal if I can't focus! If you want her to be safe then leave the room!" She says.

I scoff and walk out of the room. She closes the door behind me. I sit against the wall across from the office. I wait for her to be healed.

"This old hag better be healing her or else-" I was cut off with the door opening.

I quickly get up and look down at the old lady.

"She has passed out from all of the healing I had to do but she'll wake up later this evening" she says opening the door a little more for me to walk in.

I look at the bed with a bandaged (Y/N) in it. I sigh and put my hand on the side of the bed.

"I'll give you some time, I have to go speak to Aizawa" she says walking out of the room.

I pull a chair up and stare at her calm burnt face. I look down at my lap.

"Idiot. You know I could never hurt you. I wonder why you went all ballistic like that. I'll ask you when you get up" I say before I hear over the intercom.

"Up next!!! The battle you've all been waiting for!! Katsuki Bakugou vs Shouto Todoroki!!!" Present Mic says.

"Already? Damn that engine guy" I mutter standing up.

I look down at the poor hothead. I blush and look around the room to make sure no one is around. I carefully bend down and kiss her forehead. I scoff,

"Get better idiot" I say before walking out of the nurses and to the waiting room.
