Chapter sixty-five

Your POV

I was flying back from the highway when I suddenly got a call. I landed and grabbed my phone.

The caller ID read: Dad.

I pressed the green button,

"Hello?" I ask.

"(Y/N), I'm at the hospital with Kei" Toshi said.

"Why what's wrong?!" I ask getting worried.

"Oh nothing. I'm just visiting an old friend" he said sadly.

"I'm on my way" I said hanging up.

I was about to go there when I realized I was wearing my villain clothes. I teleport to my bag that I left before the whole plan went out.

I switched into casual clothes. I grabbed the bag and put it on. I did not hesitate to blast my way to the hospital. I figured he was at the hero hospital.

I make it to the entrance. I run to the front desk.

"Where's All Might?" I ask the man.

"Oh Dark Phoenix! He's on (floor level) in (room number)" he said.

"Thank you!" I said running up the stairs considering the elevator would take too long.

I make it to (floor level) (room number). I walk in slowly and see Midoriya, Toshi and Mirio huddling around a bed. Kei was sitting in the corner. Kei ran up to me silently and I picked him up.

Everyone gave off a sad vibe.

"Dad?" I asked softly.

He whipped around and tears were pouring from his eyes. He wiped his eyes and scooted over. I was able to see who was in the bed.

My heart stopped and my eyes widened. I watched his eyes do the same.

'The hero I saw in the caves'

I walked up slowly to the bed in fear.

"Y-You" He said softly before his line went flat.

I felt my heart drop and tears fill my eyes.

'Today's actions caused someone's death. And I took a part in it'

I hug Kei to my body and wrap my arms around my Dad. He weeped into my shoulder. I rubbed his back and comforted him. Dad let go of me and exited the room. I let Kei down to go follow him.

I look over at Deku and Mirio. They both had tears covering their cheeks and flushed faces.

"I'm so sorry Midoriya" I said using his last name.

He looks over at me. I held my arms open and wrapped them around him lightly. He held onto my tightly and weeped. I looked over at Mirio.

"Hey Mirio" I asked softly.

He looked over at me and I opened my left arm and kept my right arm around Deku. Mirio slowly came over into the hug and they weeped together. I comforted them for as long as they needed.

We separated and everyone seemed slightly less sad after my comfort. Nurses made us leave the room.

It was a week after the incident. Everything was sort of back to normal. However, today we are doing an activity. Everyone seemed off. Even Bakugou was acting strange, he wasn't yelling.

"Hey Bakugou! Are excited for what we are doing today?" I ask him.

He shrugs, "it's just another test I'm sure" he mutters out.

I become confused at his calm manner.

"Is there something wrong?" I ask him.

"Hmm?" He asks.

"You are really calm, that usually means something's bad, what's wrong?" I ask concerned.

"It's nothing" He says walking into the boys locker room.

I stare at the door for a while before sighing and heading for the girls locker room. I walk in and greet all of the girls. They look at me with fake smiles, I can tell.

I change quickly and wait for dismissal. I sit on a bench and stare at the ground in thought. We were dismissed and sent to a field.

In the middle of the open field I see Aizawa. Everyone stands on the side so I stand with them.

"(L/N) come here" Aizawa said.

I assume I'm going first for the test so I walk up to him. He holds out my bag in front of us. I stop in my tracks and my blood goes cold.

"Where did you get that?" I ask cautious.

He turns it upside down and my villain clothing falls out. I stare at the clothing on the field ground.

"Reports of a young teen seen with the league of villains. She was there for the ambush of Overhaul. Several heroes and villains admitted seeing her. All of the details said explaining her led up to one person" Aizawa said darkly.

"You (L/N) (Y/N)" he said.

Suddenly a large orb wall began closing us in. I spread my wings in fear and attempt to reach the opening at the top before it closes. I was quick enough and slammed into the ceiling. I dropped down onto the ground.

"I-I can explain!!" I said standing up. "Please!"

I look over at my friends. Uraraka was seen hugging Deku. I saw a lot of tears in my classmates eyes. I turn around and saw Aizawa's bandages headed for me. I teleport out of the way.

"You have to understand!!! I DIDN'T HURT ANYBODY!!!" I said as Aizawa kept attacking me.

One of his bandages grabbed me and slammed me against the wall. The air was blown out of my lungs. I slid down to the ground and coughed.

I see Aizawa running at me. I teleport out of the way of his foot. I appear behind him.

"Sensei I don't want to hurt you please" I begged.

I hear explosions faintly outside of the orb. I look over and see Bakugou trying to break into the orb.

"YOU SAID YOU WOULDN'T HURT HER!!!" He yelled.

I was too busy looking at him to realize the foot aiming for my side. I felt immense pain on my side and I was thrown to the side. My feet skid against the dirt as I managed to stay balanced.

I feel fire surround my hands and I spread my wings out. I look up at him darkly.

"You leave me no choice Sensei" I say sadly.
