Chapter twenty-four

Your POV

I sit back and watch both Midoriya and Todoroki walk up to the arena.

"Start!!!" Present Mic yells.

A huge wave of ice heads toward Midoriya but he uses his quirk to blast the ice away. A strong gust of cold wind is blown throughout the stadium. I warm myself up and Kaminari and Sero look back up at me. I glare at them,

"Don't you dare, not again" I say referring to the time everyone huddled next to me for warmth.

Todoroki and Midoriya fight and yell back and forth while using their quirks. They continue to repeat themselves. I look closely at Midoriya and begin to worry as I see all of his fingers broken and bloody.

"Come on Midoriya just get it over with" I mutter leaning forwards.

Todoroki blasts ice again but runs up near Midoriya to get closer to him. He blasts his ice again and gets Midoriyas foot. Midoriya uses a lot of his quirk to blast the ice and Todoroki away. I created a large gust of wind making my hair blow back.

Once the dust blew away, it showed that Todoroki was still standing. I can see Todorokis right side begin to cover with ice. I heard Bakugou muttering about limits. Damn that's the first time I heard him mutter.

"You sound like Midoriya. Stop it" I mutter to him while not looking at him.

"THE FUCK DID YOU JUST SAY?!" Bakugou yells but is cut off from everyone in the class shushing him.

He growls and crosses his arms.

I stand up and walk to the edge of the seats to get a closer look. They continue fighting and Midoriya continues to break fingers. They are both becoming weaker and weaker. Midoriya begins to talk to Todoroki and run at him.

Midoriya lands a punch on Todoroki and he flies away but he stops himself with ice. I hear Midoriya yell something making my heart stop.

"ITS YOURS!" I hear Midoriya yell "ITS YOUR QUIRK NOT HIS!!!!!!"

I watch Todoroki stand still before a huge flare grows from his left side.

"HOLY SHIT!!" I yell with a huge smile on my face.

Todorokis dad goes and yells at him. I ignore him and look at Todoroki. I notice that he is ignoring him too.

"TODOROKI!!" I yell and he looks over at me. "BEAT HIS ASS!!!!!"

Todoroki stands there before smirking and looking at Midoriya. Midoriya begins to get in a stance to use all of his power as well. I stand back and walk back up the small stairs slightly.

"Oh god" I mutter realizing I shouldn't have encouraged him to destroy the entire stadium.

Todoroki creates another huge wave of ice but Midoriya jumps over it. They both fly at each other with their quirks on full blast.

Just as they were about to throw their power at each other five large concrete walls divided them. The power was so strong that it created a massive explosion. The wind blew me back, I tried to stand it but eventually blew back up into someone.

A bright light shined making me cover my eyes. Suddenly dust filled the entire arena. I look back and realize I landed on Bakugous lap. I quickly stand up and look down at the Arena. The dust clears allowing me to see Midoriya up against the wall. He eventually slides down onto the ground.

"Midoriya is out of bounds.." Present Mic says.

"Todoroki advances to the third round!" Midnight yells.

"Oh no!" I mutter sadly.

I teleport down to Midoriya and hold him up. I use my strength ability to pick him up. I flip him up and over my shoulder. I turn around to face Midnight.

"Take him to the nurse, immediately" she says.

I nod and run down the hall to the nurses office. I kick open the door and scare the old nurse lady. She looks at me and then Midoriya. She sighs in disappointment.

"On the bed, quickly" she says.

I place him on the bed.

"I'll let him know after recovery that you brought him here" she says shooing me out.

"Can you also tell him that I said that he's a complete dumbas-" she slams the door in my face.

I giggle slightly and started heading towards the bleachers before I hear

"Next up we have (Y/N) (L/N) vs Tokoyami Fumikage" Present Mic says over the speakers.

I sigh and head for the waiting room.
