Chapter sixty-two

Your POV

I finally decided to sit up. It was 3am and I couldn't stop thinking about Bakugou's and Deku's fight. I get up and feel my toes tangle in the soft rug I placed on the floor.

I remember that there had to have been a camera dude at the place they fought. That's how Dad found out. I quickly teleport out into the hall. I walk down the hall and press the button to get into the elevator.

The elevator dings as it arrives to the floor. I step in the elevator as it opens. I quickly press the first floor. I walk into the commons area and immediately head for Aizawa's office.

I quietly teleport into it, I noticed him ticking away at his computer. I quickly teleported behind an object so he wouldn't see me. I heard him groan and get up from his chair. His footsteps grew closer to me before they stopped. I heard the door open and his footsteps walk out and into the hallway. The door closed behind him.

'He must need to take a shit or something'

I made sure that I heard his footsteps walk far enough away into the hall. Once they were far enough I quickly got up and ran to his desk. I noticed a small USB on the ground. I picked it up and it read the date that they fought on.

I turned it around and it said:

Ground Beta

'This is it'

Quickly I heard the door open. My instincts kicked in and I teleport to the ceiling. I wrapped my tail around the light hanging down.

I was hoping to sweet Jesus that it was strong enough to hold me. It was.

I watched fearfully as he sat back down in his chair and began typing again. He took a sip of his coffee. I quickly teleported back into the commons.

I painted before opening my hand and looking at the small USB in my hand. I nodded before walking to the elevator door.

The small USB clicked into my laptop and a small screen showed up. I hovered my mouse over it. A play button appeared and I clicked it.

It showed the normal Ground Beta before everything started to explode. I started to focus very hard on everything around. Suddenly the camera showed Bakugou on the ground and Deku walking up to him.

The camera guy started to call Aizawa and tell him to scold them. Bakugou slapped Deku's hand away. I watched as he was slowly getting up.

"Fight! What the hell is wrong with you?!" He yelled.

His voice began to crack as he continued.

"Why. Why did I end up having to chase after the back of someone who was always behind me?" He says while facing down.

Tears begin weld up in my eyes.

"Why did a small fry like you end up getting strong? And get acknowledged my All Might?!"

"Why did you end up getting strong?!... but I..."

"Why was..." he said and he faced upwards.

"Was was I the one who ended All Might?!" He said tears threatening to fall from his eyes and sweat seeping from his pores.

The second he said that my breath hitches and my heart began to ache. Tears broke free from my eyes and they slowly dropped down my cheeks.

I paused the video, I couldn't even watch anymore. I began to shake as I took quick breathes to regain my normal breathing. I hiccuped as tears ran down my face.
