cursed or blessed ?

Lasercorn's pov

I pull up to the hospital where my sister works. I texted her "hey can we talk. I'm here at your work. Find me in the lobby"

I put my phone away and locked the car doors. Went into the lobby and waited for her. She came out and she looked as if she had been crying today. She said coldly "make this quick. I'm not in the mood"

I ask "what's wrong ?"

She rolled her eyes "you can't seriously be asking me that"

I'm guessing she is still really upset. I say "well I came to invite you to a party that my work was throwing. Mom is going"

She is glaring at me "no"

I ask in an offended tone "why ?"

"because last time I went somewhere with you three I found out my boyfriend that I've been with for 6 months has cheated on me. Not twice but three times. No thank you. It would be my luck that I would find out some other crazy shit like I have another sibling or something off the wall like that" she said waving her arms in the air

I shake my head "nothing is going to go wrong I promise. Our family doesn't have anymore secrets. Not that I know of so that wouldn't be an issue, besides it's invite only so no one will be there that shouldn't be"

She shakes her head "nope. Not doing it"

"Look you need this. You just got over a break up and you need someone there for you. Lean on us for support Darcy" I told her

She sighs "ok"

I jump and hug her while exclaiming "yay!"

I told her to be at Joven's house at 6 tomorrow. We all get off at four today and tomorrow so that gives us plenty of time to pick out outfits and stuff.

I let her get back to work and drive back to the office. I got there just in time to eat a sandwich and then it was script writing the rest of the day. We leave work and all go home. Its been so long since we actaully left work early. It feels weird to be home so early.

We get home and Wes goes straight to his room. Joven and I sit on the couch cuddled up together watching tv. I told him "so my sister argued with me a good 5 minutes. She tried to say that apparently when ever you, her, mom and I are together, we give off bad juju" I giggle at the thought

"Well I gotta admit crazy shit does happen around me" he laughs

I kiss him on the head "you're blessed not cursed"

He giggles "blessed with you"

I blush "You're the best"

Pretty soon bed time rolls around. We strip down to our boxers and go to bed.
