Lasercorn's pov

Its now been a month and it's January 1st. After the night we confronted the killer. Everything soon went back to normal. The doctor said Joven was healed up and healthy as a horse. The worst part was over. We spent christmas with Joven's parents. They loved me and honestly I loved them to.

Ian and the rest of the group came back a couple of days after the confrontation. He scolded us for being stupid and reckless but its ok we know he was just worried.

I roll over in bed and poke Joven a couple of times to wake him up. No such luck. I get on top of him "wake up Joven"

I start bouncing on him he laughs "no I don't wanna"

I grab the pillow and start hitting him with it "wake up wake up"

I repeated that till he finally got annoyed "fine I'm up"

I get up and yell "yay!"

He smiles at me "you're lucky I love you"

I giggle. I go to walk away and he slapped my ass. I turn and jump on him again. We are rolling around in bed now and all I wanna do is kiss him and never leave. But alas I know we still have to go to my moms for dinner today. She is having an all out feast since its new years day

A few friends are comming to. Just everyone at smosh games atleast. Joven and I finally get up. We take a shower together and then get dressed.

Wes is waiting out by Joven's car. He finally decided to get the back windshield replaced. Even got a fresh coat of paint on it. We finally leave and head for my mothers house. We get there and my mind flashes back to that night. I remember questioning where my mother's body gaurds went. Turned out they had all been picked off one by one and put in the basement. My mom has had the entire place made over since then. It felt like a new home.

Joven sees me thinking to myself "hey you ok ?"

I smile and nod "now it is"

He looks puzzled but then shrugs it off. We go in and most of our friends have already arrived. Everyone sat at the dining table waiting on us "sorry we are late I couldn't get him out of bed"

Mom waves me off "its ok. Just sit and lets eat"
We have a seat and pile food onto our plates. After an hour of eating. We were all full. My sister jokes "nothing has gone wrong so far. Maybe we aren't cursed when we are together"

I roll my eyes "I told you we weren't"

She smiles and says "you were right"

I make a fake shocked face "you just admitted I was right again. It must be the pregnant hormones"

She warns "you want to die still cause it can be arranged"

We all laugh at her.

The dinner ends and we all sit and talk for a while. But breaking news comes onto the tv above us. We look up, it's Wes ex boyfriend. He's a politician ? The headline reads man presumed dead after plane crash was found and welcomed back to the country with open arms.

I can't believe who he is shaking hands with. My father is alive. I tensed in fear. My mom and sister looked upset to. Joven held my hand and asked "what's wrong ? Who is that ?"

He doesnt actaully know what my father looked like. All I'm able to stutter out "it's my father. He's alive"

I question mom "how is this possible. I thought you said he died"

She shakes her head while trying to wipe away tears "I thought he was"

She continued "he doesn't know who you are. I would understand if you stopped talking to me. Because you know when he finds us then we will be in trouble"

I nod in knowing this to be true. I tell "no. I won't run again. I will stand tall for my family"

I look at Joven "how are we going to handle this though when he finds us"

He smiled and squeezed my hand "together"

I smile back and repeat him "together"

He then did something really unexpected. He got up out of his chair and got on one knee "I wanted to do this at a better time. But will you marry me"

"Yes" is all I say as he tackles me with a hug. I tell him "I love you. We can handle anything thrown at us together"

I smile warmly "together forever and always"....
