We are all in shock at darcy's news. Suddenly all our phones notifications were being blown up. Someone calls mine "this isn't the best time"

"Mr ovenshire, its detective marlene. Have you not seen the news ? Your office building had been broken into and written on your office wall was a giant red 3. We think its pigs blood. Labs will show more. There was also a Polaroid left on your desk. It was his third victim in the photo. You know this means-"

I cut her off "he only has one victim left and then he is comming for me"

She said "we are doing everything we can to find him and put an end to this. Till then stay by your phone and security detail. This man is crazy"

I sigh "I know"

Everyone is looking at me but the maid comes up and places a small box on the table. It has a 3 on it "detective stay on the line. I think I was just sent something by the killer"

I tear the tape off the box and slowly open it. Oh god that is a tongue. Looks like a human tongue. I jump back in panic. I close the box before anyone can see in it. "Detective I need you to get here now. I will text you the address"

My stomach feels ill. Everyone looked worried. David asked "what is it ?"

I answer "someone's tongue"

Mrs Elwood asked the maid "where did this come from ?"

She said "it was placed outside the gate with this letter addressed to me ovenshire, on it"

She hands me the letter and I read aloud "dear Mr ovenshire I am writing this to you to let you know that the thing in the box belonged to the man you once kissed. Quite often if I may add. He's dead so we don't have to bother with that anymore. I've been watching you for a while now. It occurred to me that you only know me by the man in the mask but you may refer to me as Mark. That's not my real name. Just an alias. That way when you die people will know somewhat who I am. You shouldn't have crossed my path that day Mr ovenshire. I will be watching you. Those cops can't protect you forever. I already have the fourth victim. Im saving her death to make you fear a little bit longer"

David grabs my hand. I still havent processed what I read. Ej is dead. Oh poor Darcy. She is crying her eyes out at the end of the table.

Everyone in that moment looked scared. He's playing games with us. So any day now he could be comming for me.

The detective gets here and I show her the letter "that's why we cant find her. The bastard already has her. We were looking for her to put her in a safe house. Guess we are too late"

I don't know what to think. I am worried. What if he comes after anyone else. I think it's best if they get as far away from me as possible. I don't want anyone I love getting hurt. David comes up to me after trying to calm his sister down "Joven baby. Are you doing ok ?"

I look at him. I take one of my guns from my belt loop. I hand him the gun and tell David "protect yourself. It's probably best if I go sleep at a hotel"

I kiss him on the forehead and go to walk away. He grabs my hand "hell no. We're in this together no matter what"

I frown "I don't want you or anyone else getting hurt because of me"

David argued "we are stronger together. Besides he saw us together. You read what he said. He is watching you"

I sigh "well that worries me. What if he came after any of our friends. Wes lives with us. He's in danger just as much as you are"

What do I do ? I ask the detective "is there anything we can do to keep me and my friends safe"

She said "well if you could get them all under one roof we can protect them. But I don't know how we could do that"

When I say all of my friends I mean everyone at smosh. Everyone from both channels are in trouble. I give Ian a call while lasercorn and the detective brainstorm "hey Ian. The ski mask guy , he's been keeping an eye on me. Everyone on the smosh channels are in danger. The detective said she can keep us all safe if we were all under one roof. Any ideas ?"

Ian actaully sounded like hope existed "yes. I will shoot a text out to everyone tonight. We will leave tomorrow for a cabin in the moutains. We can turn this into a trip and do smosh winter games while we're there. That will keep us all safe and occupied for the time being"

I happily say "ok great Ian. I will tell David and the others with us"

He hangs up and I interrupt lasercorn and the detective "so everyone at smosh is leaving for a cabin in the moutains. But the police here can't really go that far though can they ?"

She smiles "no but we can call the police department out there and they will take great care of you guys"

After that she collects the tongue and letter and leaves......
