the worst confrontation

Lasercorn's pov

Joven told me the truth about who that really was on the phone "I can't believe he has my family !" I yell

Joven told me "don't worry. I'll go give myself over to him. He won't hurt them"

He goes to walk out the door but I grab his arm "you can't. He will kill you. I can't live without you babe. You're my everything"

He argues back "but he will kill them if I don't. You know hes not bluffing"

I look him in the eyes "there has to be another way. How the hell did he get past 9 body gaurds and capture a detective"

He shakes his head "I don't know"

He hugs me tightly "I love you. I'll always be with you"

He kisses me on my forehead. I don't like the way he said that "no if that's the case then I'm coming with you"

"No"

I fire back "I am not going to stand by and let this happen. I'll come with you"

He tells me "he will kill them"

I shake my head "I will hide in the back seat so he doesn't see me"

Joven contemplates for a second but tries to argue again "babe I-"

I cut him off "Joven remember we are in this together. He won't even see me"

Joven sees that I'm not going to let this go "ok but stay hidden. I can't live with myself if something happened to you or your family"

He asked me while walking out the door "you still have the gun I gave you right ?"

I nod and we walk out and down stairs. Boze asked "where are you two going ?"

I say to cover for Joven's terrible lying "oh for a small walk. Need some fresh air"

She nodes in content with that answer and we walked out the back door. Can't go out the front because that is where the police officer is. We sneak past him by going through a trail in the woods. It lead straight to the vans. We get in and start it up. We take off down the road and into the night...

Flitz's pov

I can tell Joven's lies from a mile away. Something is wrong. I know I shouldn't be nosey but he is my friend. So I sneak up stairs and listen to what they are talking about.

Turns out I regret that because what I know now is horrifying. Them two idiots are planing on going and getting themselves killed. Not if I have anything to say about it. I hide and they walk down stairs.

They used the excuse that they needed some fresh air. I follow them. They sneak into one of the vans and drive off. I sneak into one also. I drive and follow them. Every so often I would back off so they didn't see that I was following them.

Finally they arrived at Lasercorn's moms house. I park a half a mile away and walk....

Joven's pov

We pull up and I'm terrified. David hides. I call the detectives phone. He picks up "I'm here"

He laughs "come and untie them"

I get out of the van. I left the keys out here. I can see from the yard through the window. They are tied up and all the way across to the other side of the living room. I run into the house and I have my gun aimed and ready to fire.

I don't see him anywhere. I run up to the detective and David's mom and sister. I began to untie them. I pull off detective marlene gag she screamed "run"

I look behind me and there he is. He didn't have a ski mask though. He was bald with a scar on his cheek. He begins walking towards me and I aim my gun but I was too late he hit it out of my hand. He goes to grapple me but I put up a fight. I'm not as strong though so he is able to throw me into a grandfather clock. I try and get up, I'm successful but it didn't exactly feel good so it wasn't easy. I throw a punch and he dodges me he spear tackles me. He is on top of me now and grins "this looks familliar"

I spit in his face. I bring my knee up into his groin. He doubles over and I fumble for my gun. He Recovers quickly though and kicks it away before I can get it. He punches me in the face atleast 10 times. I am starting to feel dizzy. I can imagine I probably have a concussion by now. He gets to my gun and picks up. I go to jump for cover but he shot me in the leg before I could. I scream in pain "you son of a bitch"

He points the gun at me and aims for my head. This is it huh. I'm sorry lasercorn. I love you. I close my eyes

I hear an entire clip get emptied but not on me. I open my eyes and lasercorn stood at the door way. And the man had been shot so much he fell backwards

Lasercorn comes over and helps me up. He untied the detective and his family. We all examine the body. He looks dead. We go to walk out the door but he gets up and screams "die !" He points the gun at us and at this point I'm certain we are going to die but we hear a loud crunch and next thing we knew the van was on top of the now for sure dead man. We all anticpate who it might be but it surprised us. Flitz gets out of the van and looks down at the body "bet you didnt see that coming bitch"..

The cops were now here and the detective explained everything. Lasercorn stood with me at the ambulance "I'm so glad you are alive. I saw him raise that gun and my body moved before I could even think"

He held my hand while staring into my eyes "I love you David moss" is all I could say.

He hugs me tight "never let go"

He starts tearing up "I can't believe we survived"

I shush him "its ok. We're safe now. He's dead"

He wipes his eyes. And we both look over at flitz. He comes walking over after talking to a few cops. We tackle him with a hug. I ask "how did you know ?"

He simply replied "you are a terrible liar"

The three of us laugh and lasercorn commented "I keep telling him that"

Lasercorn smiles at me "you smile like an angel"

He kisses me and and I return the kiss. I am so glad I get to do that again. I'm glad everyone is ok. I smile like an idiot. Lasercorn questions "we just almost die and you're smilling"

I nod and reply "yeah we did almost die but we are free now"

They stuck me in the back of the ambulance and lasercorn got in with me. We rode of in the ambulance with nothing but nightmares left behind....
