thanksgiving

Lasercorn's pov

It was like as if that date night had fixed everything. I'm not as terrified as I used to be. The night we finally had sex had forified our emotions and made us feel stronger together.

Its thanksgiving morning and something tells me that today is gonna go wrong somehow. What ever happens, we can handle it.

I roll over in bed and climb on top of Joven "wakey wakey"

He whines "10 more minutes"

I laugh and start hitting him with a pillow. This has kind of become a routine for us. We call it cute play time "we have to get up. We have to cook something for moms dinner today and you have to call your parents"

He whines some more and then finally opens his eyes "good morning baby"

I roll off of him and stand up "good morning my love"

He and I put a shirt and some pants on and went into the kitchen. Wes was making a pie, he sees me and Joven coming in "good morning guys"

We both tell him good morning and I begin to pull out the ingredients for home made brownies. Wes leaves the kitchen to go get ready and that left me and Joven in the kitchen alone.

He wraps his arms around my waist and starts nibbling my ear and neck. It starts turning me on alot "jovie don't start anything you can't finish"

He laughs "I can finish anything"

He begins nibbling on my neck again. I fight the urge "we have got to get these made. We have to leave for my moms by 12"

He giggles "we have time"

I look at the clock. It reads 9:00

We have an hour at tops. I can't take it any more. I turn in his grip and hop on the counter. I wrap my legs around him and an hour later we are putting our clothes back on. We had knocked over all of the ingredients and we are both hysterically laughing. I love this man so much. We are lucky that Wes didn't walk in on us.

Finally I get more ingredients and Joven and I start making brownies

"so that was fun"

He smiled "yeah it was"

We both giggle and laugh till I finally get done mixing the ingredients and put our batter in the oven. I went to turn around and I heard Joven giggling. He then put flour all over my face. I get an evil grin. I take the whole bag of flour and dump it on his head when he wasn't looking.

I busted out laughing. He is slightly annoyed but its cute "well I have to wash my hair anyways. I'm gonna go take a shower. Care to join me ?"

He asked "sure sounds good"

We take a shower together for the first time ever. Afterwards we both got dressed and by the time we were done, the brownies were done. I put them on a platter and covered it in plastic wrap.

We were all ready to go by the time it hit 12 and we left to head over to my moms. Her house was huge. It was like an old mansion. She had security all over the place. Guess she wanted to make sure things didn't go wrong this time.

I put the dish in the kitchen. The cook thanked me, Joven and l were given a tour around the house by my mom. I ask "so I am guessing with father passing away he left everything he owned to you"

"Yes but actaully there is something I wanted to tell you. I cut a chunk of it out of my own pocket and I'm splitting it for you and your sister. Your father didn't leave a cent to you or Darcy. Why he didn't, I don't understand"

I grumble "maybe its because he didnt want me or Darcy to begin with"

My mom turns to me and places a hand on my shoulder "son I may not speak for your father when I say this but. I never regret having y'all. You two are the only joy I've had in a very long time, I am even more happy that atleast one of you found someone you truly love. Your sister will get there one day I know she will"

I smile warmly and grab Joven's hand "thanks mom that means alot to me"

We hugged and finished the rest of the tour. Finally all of the food had been done being prepared and the rest of our guest arrived.

They were brought to the huge dinning room and Mari commented "nice house Mrs Elwood"

My mother smiled in gratitude. We have a seat and mom had a servant prepare the table. Leave it to my mother to live a life like this. She is a kind woman though so she deserves it. Food was placed in front of us and mom told us "so I was thinking we could all go around the table and say what we are thankful for"

Joven reaches for my hand and he begins talking "I'm thankful for my friends and the love of my life, and the new family that came with him"

I love him so much. He is so sweet. The best boyfriend in the world. It was my turn to go "I'm thankful for everyone in this room. I'm thankful for repairing my relationship with my mother. I'm also thankful for my love and how he has changed me for the better"

After that everyone else goes around the table and we finally started eating. By the end of the meal we were all full. Then my sister says something that had taken us all by surprise "so I invited EJ"

Joven looks my way and he and I make eye contact. He is thinking the same thing I am thinking "Darcy are you aware that he left town because the same person who is after Joven is after him as well ? and also why the hell would you invite that cheating lying piece of shit"

She looked confused "he said he would come"

I roll my eyes "brings me back to my second point. He's a liar"

She yells "no he is not. He made a mistake. He's only human"

"You're defending him ?"

She screamed back "yes I am"

I ask with spite in my voice "why ?"

She starts crying "because I'm pregnant with his baby !"....
