almost party time

Joven's pov

Today is Monday and David and I walk into the office. Saturday night was the night from hell. Sunday we just laid around the house and watched netflix. The night before had been fresh in our minds still and just wanted to relax with each other.

Now today we have to go to work. Then after I have a therapy session with Mrs Elwood. Despite what happened she isn't mad at lasercorn. EJ was the one to blame. That piece of shit.

David and I leave for the office and when we get there all of our friends questioned us. We had promised to tell them yesterday but never did. Lasercorn noded for me to tell them so I did "well EJ my ex boyfriend turned out to be Lasercorn's sisters boyfriend. Who have been together for 6 months. He came into the bathroom and tried to force himself on me. I kneed him in the balls and ran out and told lasercorn. Well you saw Lasercorn's hands the other night so you can guess what happened after that"

The only one to say anything was flitz "what kind of pretty little liars bullshit is this ?"

It lightened the mood. Everyone got seated and Ian came in with a big announcement "so guys guess what ! We are having a smosh celebration. Everyone who works with smosh is comming and its Wednesday. It's suits and dresses only so no non fancy clothes. Its a party that rewards all the hard work everyone has been doing here at smosh. You all have a plus one"

We all cheered. I have an idea now. Maybe I can invite davids mom and he can invite his sister. So that way we can show that David and I aren't mad or anything with her.

Lunch rolls around and I suggest to David while in the break room "baby you should invite your sister. Ill invite your mom and we can retry me and your sister getting to know each other"

He shakes his head "no bad idea. Besides she is still letting it sink in that her boyfriend cheated 3 times already"

I tell him "that is why it's a good idea to invite her. She needs support from her family lasercorn"

He turns to face me. He takes hold of my hands and kiss them softly "you have such a beautiful heart you know that right ?"

I smile "you make it beautiful"

He agrees to this and the day goes by quick after that. I go to my therapy session and David goes back my house. I walk into Mrs Elwoods office and sit down. She greeted "hello Joven how was your day ?"

I reply "it was ok. David and I are doing good. And I'm happy actaully happy. Its taken so long to get to where I am. I hope it stays"

She smiles warmly "me too. Having any nightmares lately ?"

I shake my head "haven't since me and David got back together"

She raises a brow "it makes sense"

I question "how so ?"

She asked "how did you feel when you and David got into that fight that night ?"

I answer "well I felt the same way I did when I had been raped. Alone. Like I had no one there for me at that time"

It clicks. So that feeling triggers me "so the feeling triggers me"

She nods "yes. It's important to know what that feeling does. You've come so far with this you know. I'm so proud"

I tell her "thank you. There is a celebration Wednesday and we wanted to invite you. Our work is having a party. Its formal attire. I told him it would be a good way to be a do over for the other night. seeming the last time we were out in public together, it didn't exactly go perfect"

She thanks me "of course. I would love to see what you guys do behind the cameras"

"Great I'll let David know" I told her

The rest of the session went fine. It ended and I left to go home. lasercron and Wes were sitting on the couch watching tv. He jumped up. tackled me with a hug. Man I love him so much. I kissed him on the lips. He asked "how did your session go today ?"

I smile "it went fine. Your mom says hi. She also said yes to the invite. Did you call your sister and ask her yet ?"

"I was actually gonna go see her tomorrow and invite her in person." He responded

I look towards the bedroom "ok ready for bed ?"

He nodes contently. We wave Wes goodnight and head to bed.....

Lasercorn's pov

I heard Joven's alarm go off and he groans. I pick up the nearest object which was my shoe and throw it at the alarm clock. It was knocked off and successfully silenced. Joven giggles "10 points"

I laugh to. I roll over on to him and lay my head on his chest. His bare chest was so warm. I never thought I'd get this lucky to beable to do this. I look up and he is staring down at me "you look so cute laying on me like that"

I smile with content. I ask "how did I get so lucky to have a man like you ?"

Joven replied "how did I get lucky to have someone as caring and thoughtful as you ?"

I boop his nose "you don't get to do that. Only I'm allowd to be insecure in the morning"

He starts laughing. The alarm clock starts going off again and I groan this time. He laughed at my annoyed tone "come on babe time to get up"

I wine "just a little longer ugh"

He laughs "if you wait any longer then we will be late for work"

I groan one more time and he just starts tickling me. I give in after laughing so much "ok ok just stop tickling me"

He does as I ask and we both get up to start our day. We get ready and eat some cereal. He grabs his keys and we are out the door. We take his car to work today. We get there and we hear the usuals about sohinki getting wasted. Lunch time rolls around after hours of work and Joven let's me borrow his keys so I can go see my sister....
