done being scared

Joven's pov

Lasercorn told me what the detective said. We were given her card and they also posted cops outside my house and were informed to follow me everywhere I go.

In the car on the way home, David kept asking if I was ok. I nodded everytime. When we got home, his mom and sister hugged us goodbye and left. We went into the bedroom and laid down. Neither of us can sleep. Lasercorn rolls over and gets face to face with me "baby are you sure you're ok ?"

I smile and kiss him on the nose "I'm more than ok. I'm done being scared of him. I had nightmare after nightmare because of him. I also have had anxiety attacks just beacuse I see a ski mask. I always had a fear that I would come face to face with him again. I'm done giving that bitch my fear. Tomorrow I am finally using one of my day offs and going to buy a gun. If he's gonna come for me then I want him to. Cause I will be damned if I let him hurt anyone I care about to get to me. Take one of the cops with you to work tomorrow ok. You are probably in danger to"

He looks at me lovingly. He starts to tear up. He actaully cries. I get closer to him and wrap my arm around him "it's going to be ok baby"

He says while sobbing "I'm worried about you"

I lift his chin "hey I'm going to be ok Besides we have cops to look after us"

He smiles and stops crying. He kisses me good night and we go to sleep...

The next morning we get up and get ready for the day. Since my car has a huge hole in the windshield, lasercorn left me his keys and got a ride to work from wes.

I told one of the cops to follow him and to make sure he was safe. The other followed me. We go to a gun shop. I bought a permit and picked out 2 small 9 millimeters.

I put the safety on and stuck them into the belt of my jeans. If that bastard was coming for me then I would be ready. I leave the gun shop and the clock reads 3, I finished earlier than I thought. I head back to the office. Maybe I can finish up some work...

Lasercorn's pov

I got to the office and all eyes were on me. Flitz asked "hey where is Joven ?"

I said "well I think he was replaced because last night before we fell asleep, he was talking about going to buy a gun. That he was not scared anymore. But-"

Mari finished my sentence "but you are scared for him"

I nod and just lay my head into my hands. I start crying. I'm terrified. What if that murderer gets him and I can't save him.

Just then the new people showed up. I quickly wipe my eyes. I don't want them to see me cry. Boze sees through this immediately "um I know there is alot going on. Are you and Joven ok ?"

I nod even though I'm not ok "yeah I'm ok. Thanks"

She said with a smile on her face "so to get your mind off of what's going on, who wants to give us newbs a tour"

All of the smosh games crew Gives the new people a tour. It takes about 30 minutes. After that we get back to the office and make a video. We make the new people read fan fiction. The day goes on and the clock reads 3:30.

Joven walks through the door of the office. He acts like nothing is wrong. I ask "how can you act so natural to this ?"

He said with more conviction I've ever heard in his voice "I told you baby I am done being scared. That's what he wants us to do. Because he can play off that fear. I won't give in"

I just let the words slip "I love you"....
