*creak*
"Taehyung" Jimin whines throwing a pillow in the direction of the sound "stop coming into my room uninvited".
He quickly slams his face back into the pillowcase.
"What would you do if I were to tell you I'm not Taehyung" a low voice Jimin's grown to learn asks.
Jimin quickly snaps his head on his pillow in the direction of the window only to see exactly what he imagined would be waiting for him there.
"Hyung what is it" he blinks bitterly still tired with a morning voice.
"I haven't seen you in a week and a half, had to make sure you were still breathing" Yoongi smiles "also you left your shit in my trunk". He points out the window behind him and Jimin can only assume it's towards his parked vehicle outside of the younger's house.
"So you came at-" he sits up in bed and glances down at his alarm clock "9 am to tell me to get my stuff out of your trunk?"
"You're never home" Yoongi shrugs "I tried to come before this".
"Oh". Jimin quickly sits up and slings his legs over the bed revealing his loose white t shirt and plaid pajama bottoms that are Taehyungs and he stole. "Sorry I've been busy with Jungkook".
Grandma Park has always told Jimin about how hard it is to know what someone is thinking but their eyes will forever show through. Windows to the soul indeed. And if Jimin were to blink he would have missed how Yoongi's quickly filled with what appeared to be hurt. But it's gone as soon as it came.
"Right" Yoongi nods still sitting in the windowsill.
"Sorry I know you're my friend too it's just that-" Jimin blinks down at the floorboards "he's moving in less than two weeks and we've been trying to spend as much time as we can with him".
"It's fine" Yoongi nods "I moved too, my friends did the exact same for me".
"Who are your friends hyung?" Jimin asks before hugging his knees to his chest.
"Namjoon and Seokjin" Yoongi smiles at their names "those two are the most frustrating people I've ever met".
"What do you mean" Jimin blinks confused.
"They constantly woke me up at 7pm to go watch movies and other stuff" he smiles "I always found it annoying but those two always saw right through me. They both knew they were never bothering my sleep and I was actually enjoying myself".
"Do- you miss them" Jimin's eyes flicker up to the olders.
Yoongi shrugs "I guess. They're the only friends I ever really had. Well until I met you anyways-"
"Why?"
Jimin's really full of questions today isn't he.
"Most people are just afraid of me I guess" Yoongi shrugs "you're the only person here who makes the effort to talk to me, to get to know me".
"Is that why you said you wouldn't have a friend if you didn't apologize" Jimin asks.
Yoongi nods.
"..." Jimin blinks "is that why you told me I'm different from everyone else. Because I actually gave you a chance?"
His eyes rip off the ground and gaze upon a saddened Yoongi who leans his back against the window frame. He wasn't looking inside anymore. But he didn't have to for Jimin to hear his answer.
"Yes".
The room falls into a silence. And as creaky as the floorboards are Yoongi wasn't expecting arms to wrap around his chest and to feel Park Jimin back hugging him.
