Jimin really felt the strong urge to throw up as he exited off the train, black duffle in hand. And he sighed as his feet dragged with each step and the cold air surrounded him. The platform for the most part was vacant and Jimin growled as he begin his trip up the steps and out of the station.
The lot was practically empty with only 10 or so cars parked and Jimin sighs realizing he still has half an hour before he reaches the all to familiar town, but as he finally reaches the parking lot his mouth drops. The sight of the bright red camaro parked in the far right corner of the lot almost blinds him and makes his already teary eyes (from the cold weather) even more watery. He raises the back of his sleeve (cough, Jungkook's jacket that he still has in his possession because he's always stealing his clothes) to dry his irritated eyes.
He growls at today's outfit choice and frowns at himself for finally giving in that morning and slipping on the yellow sweater- he feels like a total idiot as he gains composure and regains his step in pursuit of the older. It's Jeon's fault, he growls to himself, he said it would be colder here. Which yes- is the truth, but also such a damn excuse since Jimin packed two other sweaters. At the end of the day- he really just missed the comforting smell of tobacco smoke and sugar.
He didn't realize how close he was to Yoongi until the drivers door opened wide and the older male stepped out. Over break the older male didn't change at all- still sporting his famous red jacket except this time he has a black beanie atop of his wavy black hair. His eyes look tired and slightly red- but maybe that's because of the wheather.
Jimin isn't even sure why he was so upset with Yoongi in the first place- but as Jungkook's words replay in his head he takes a deep breath and can't help but mutter out "you didn't answer my calls".
"Sorry" Yoongi's brow knit together with a frown upon his lips as he shuts the driver door and approaching the shorter male offering to take his bag. "I was in such a rush I left it on my bed like an idiot".
Jimin feels his shoulder's relax at that as he hands his bag offer, "I thought you were staying home for break".
"Thought you were too" Yoongi remarks as he opens the trunk, "got home the twenty sixth and had to have Hoseok tell me that you asked him to drop you off at the train station a week ago; apparently you went to visit home as so did I".
Jimin nods sheepishly- he really can't believe that he was frustrated with himself but currently the older's words are proving his thoughts correct. He left to visit his home, and that's okay. Jimin can't shake away the feeling of guilt and blame- Yoongi didn't do anything wrong and he's so stupid for getting angry. Holy shit am I getting clingy-
"How was your trip" he asks opening the passenger door.
What you wanna do- we have all break?
"Good good" Yoongi sighs as he slides into the drivers seat, "and yours?"
"Good" Jimin nods.
I cried- a lot.
Maybe I do overthink
Jungkook was right-
"You didn't tell me you were leaving" Jimin's eyes wonder from outside his window to the older, "everything alright?"
"Yeah- something came up and Joon threatened to come get me if I didn't drive down" Yoongi sighs as he restarts the engine, this old car doesn't really provide warmth. "But I'm back and I missed you lots pretty boy" the older offers small warm smile and leans over to fuck up Jimin's hair.
"I missed you too" the younger finally admits as he leans back and relaxes into the cold leather, "guess I just wanted someone to talk to while you were gone".
"I'm sorry-"
"Don't be" Jimin cuts the older off, he's the foolish one making assumptions and accusations towards the older. He's really the idiot here for allowing himself to get so worked up about stupid Christmas Break. God, he sounds like such a- "it's not your fault Namjoon threatened you".
"Yeah, but I still should have sai-"
"Yoongi don't" Jimin shakes his head with a small smile, "let's just celebrate new years?"
"Okay".
