"what is that?"

"You know".

And Jimin takes a deep breath as he recalls the text still in his phone, "I know".

And he flutters his eyes open to see a tired Yoongi in front of him. His bags under his eyes easily worse than Jimin has ever seen them before. "Why did you still buy me dinner" Jimin whispers.

"I'm sorry".

"You promised Yoongi" Jimin backs away, "you promised not to hide anything from me".

"I know"

"And you leave all the time anyways without an explanation"

"I know".

"Yoongi, that shit hurts!"

"I know Jimin" the older yells back, "I know it hurts and I'm sorry! But in my defense you never asked okay?! Never asked where I went or why I was gone. Never bothered to wonder why I skipped in the first place- hell maybe you did maybe you still do but, b-but Jimin how am I supposed to know if you don't say anything?" Jimin thought he was done- "I know I'm a hypocrite but please just see it from my eyes".

And Jimin stands back as if dawns on him then. He always had been trying hard to be like his mother and get her grasp on perspective. He always tried to be understanding and not to quick to judge- maybe he is in the wrong this time too and he selfishly thought otherwise. He didn't bother to let Yoongi defend himself, he was so hurt the olders words seemed to only irritate him more.

"Every time I'm not in school it's because I'm in Daegu" the older sighs, "I've made you cry- Jimin shit I'm just so sorry. I should have said something or told you anyways, I know I promised oka-"

But the older is cut off as Jimin leans forward and closes the space between them and connects their lips for only a few seconds, Jimin's kisses were always Yoongi's favorite.

"I'm sorry too" he whispers against Yoongis lips.

"God Jimin fuck I-" Yoongi uses his free hand to grip his hair, "fuck I thought I lost you, that you'd never trust me again and now you're apologizing?" He smirks dropping his hand and moving it to cup Jimins cheek. "Don't apologize for something you didn't do wrong-"

"Yoongi I should have let you talk" Jimin frowns at the sopping wet boy in front of him, "should have let you explain yourself".

I was afraid to explain myself, Yoongi thinks with a sigh but it only comes out as a sigh of relief.

"So you aren't mad anymore?"

"No" Jimin whispers backing away, "I shouldn't have gotten mad in the first place, you just didn't want me to miss class".

"God" Yoongi whispers before sitting down the take out box and wrapping his arms around Jimins waist. Jimin doesn't waste a second as he tangles his arms around the olders shoulders and buries his face into his neck. "I missed you Jimin" he feels like an idiot admitting it, it's only been a few hours, but Jimin doesn't know how much he hates fighting with people he loves too.

"Yoongi" he whines into the olders neck, "I couldn't even get you out of my mind".

The older can relate to the that very well and raises a hand to pet through Jimins hair. "I thought I'd lose you for a second time".

Wow.

Jimin blinked rapidly trying to gather himself but he couldn't help it as he melted into the older at those words. Dejavu once again hits him as he recalls the night in the McDonald's as Yoongi admitted to why he was apologizing in the first place. Because he was afraid of losing somebody he considered a friend.

But are we just friends?

Jimin didn't linger on the thought as he back away from the older, "thanks for dinner hyung. I still haven't gotten the chance to eat".

"Why not?"

Jimins eyes grow as he recalls the phone call with Jungkook. He quickly spots his phone resting on the ground and leans forward to pick it up. The screen lights up showing the call must have ended. "Shoot".

"What is it?" Yoongi asks confused.

"Jungkook" Jimin shakes his head, "he- he called before you came. It was important gosh Tae's gonna kill me when I tell him-"

"Does Jungkook want you to tell him?"

"I might have to" Jimin answers in all honesty, "he heard what he said and a bunch of other stuff". Jimin tiredly flops back into his previous position. "I'm really tired Yoongi" he admits, but it's more than just the four simple words. Yoongi can hear the depth in them even if he's unsure if the meaning himself.

"Hey Jimin?"

"Yeah?"

"Why were you crying at lunch?" He finally asks. Jimin tenses, possibly not ready to admit it- "Jimin if you aren't ready to sa-"

"They just reminded me of Jungkook is all" he finally whispered, "reminded me of when everything went to shit".

Reminded me of our fight and Jungkook leaving- changing everything.

"I feel like an idiot is all" Jimin rest his head back and scrunches his nose, "I genuinely thought I was over it already". Is there even a point of trying to hide from Yoongi? "I guess I'm just being selfish".

"You aren't".

He opens his eyes to the ceiling of the veranda. He leans his head forward and his eyes snap over to the older boy leaning on the edge of the veranda, not even facing him but rather the rain. "Being an idiot or selfish?" He asks.

"Both". Over it.

Yoongi was planning on staying longer until they both heard the familiar shout of Jimin's name. Yoongi tensed before going to step out in the rain. But falters as he hears the whisper from behind him-

"Yoongi I don't want you to leave" Jimin frowns-

"Does that make me selfish?"
