Jimin rubs the sleep out of his eyes for the 15th time in the past 20 minutes clearly irritated. He growls down at the yellow sweater that typically feels comforting is becoming too warm and suffocating even though the crisp late December air is sneaking into his room through the crack in his bedroom window.

He strips the sweater and wraps his duvet around himself instead as he stands and attempts to shut his window which isn't budging from the ice. He slumps against the bed giving up before reaching over for his phone from his bedside table.

A frown upon his lips feels permanent as Yoongi still hasn't messaged him back for the past three days now. His eyes flick up to the time to see its almost three in the morning and he lectures himself for being stupid and staying up late with the hopes Yoongi would call or sling into his room at anytime.

Christmas break he and Yoongi decided, would be spent together like every other day. But sadly- this isn't the first time Yoongi's disappeared from town. Each passing minute pushes Jimin closer and closer to leaving himself, he's bored of waiting and tired of sticking around for his boyfriend who's gone missing since he woke up saturday morning.

This break should be spent with people he loves and lately the only person he can speak to is his grandmother, who herself is busy mailing letters so his fingers are torn with paper cuts from helping out. It's not like he can spend it how he did last year huddled up in Hoseok's room surrounded by his closest friends each day.

He sighs before slinging his phone across his bed and pulling the duvet over his head, maybe he should just get tickets to visit Busan for the rest of break since it feels so wasted huddled up in his bedroom alone- he's never felt so secluded and bored.

Tears brim at his eyes as he recalls the first time he met Yoongi in that classroom many months ago. A pained laugh escapes his lips as the words muttered from his boyfriends lips fill his brain. "That fucking idiot" he whispers throwing his head back into the pillow and drowning in the duvet. In reality he's the one who feels like an idiot for assuming he wouldn't be spending this break alone.

He pushes the duvet off quickly and quietly steps towards his closet, dragging out his duffel bag and zipping it open. He turns back to his closet and begins to rips shirts and sweaters from their hangers- tossing them into the black bag atop of his bed. He ransacks his own dresser in search of a pair of Jungkook's sweatpants and a few pairs of jeans. He zips the bag shut and freezes with his fingers still gripping the zipper. His eyes shift to the oversized sweater he ripped from his body still sitting on his bed next to his phone. He leans over and grips the material into his free hand and unzips the bag before shoving it in as well.

He uses the back of his arms to wipe away the tears daring to leak from his eyes and stain his cheeks. He's the foolish one, Yoongi is doing nothing wrong- just visiting his family like the younger male should be doing.

Im the selfish one, he tells himself.

Yoongi should be allowed to visit his family; I'm stupid and selfish for expecting him to stay with me

But he can't help the tear that finally escapes his eyes as he recalls Yoongi's words four days ago.

"Where should we go tomorrow- we have all break"

Buying the ticket was pricey not difficult, Jimin notes as his gaze remains outside the window of the train he's seated on. He's visited his family enough to remember the basic layout of Busan and sighs in relief as it fills his vision. He frowns as the houses and woody area goes out of his line of vision as the train slips back underground. Jimin's eyes return to his notebook instead of the cold and frosted over walls of the train station.

He signs the date at the bottom of the page before closing the book shut and shoving his notebook and pen into the black duffel he had packed two nights ago. His eyes catch the sight of the bright yellow sweater but he flicks his gaze away and zips the bag shut focusing on the wall again instead.

He watches as the train finally passes the wall and the sight of the platform fills his vision instead. A smile etches onto the ends of his lips as the train slows to a halt. The few passengers around him all begin to stand and he follows in suit, slinging the duffel onto his right shoulder and following everyone to the doors.

Busan is instantly more populated than his hometown, his eyes grows wide as he weaves through the crowd attempting to bored the train in hopes that they can make it to their work in time since the weather is starting to pick up.

Jimin shudders- suddenly cold even though he has three layers on and a beanie. He isn't sure why he's starting to regret this decision of visiting as snowflakes flutter from the sky. It rarely snows here and he was hoping to see more rain than he does back home during this time of year.

"Park Jimin!" a shout draws him out of his thoughts as he turns rather dramatically to spot no other than Jeon Jungkook leaning against the trains walls among a large map with the station layout. The younger pushes himself from the wall and walks towards the older who has frozen in his spot. Partially from the cold weather and partially out of shock.

"Jungkookie" he means to voice it louder than it comes so he doesn't hesitate to say it louder, "Jungkookie!" He widens his arms and yelps as the younger picks him off the ground and deepens the embrace.

"Holy shit" Jungkook mutters as he sits the younger back onto the ground, his arms still wrapped around the older's small torso "when you said you visit I didn't think you actually meant it".

"I did" he mutters against Jungkook's neck before taking a step back and breaking the embrace, "things were getting boring back home and its been a hot minute since I've visited my family-"

"They know you're here right" Jungkook jokes with a lazy grin upon his lips, "or did you only decide to visit me"

"Yes asshole, they know I'm here" Jimin rolls his eyes, his choice of words causing the younger's eyes to grow wide in confusion.

"Since when did you curse?" the  younger's question stings and leaves a nasty aftertaste in Jimin's mouth as the meaning behind them unravels in his head.

Yoongi taught him to curse afterall.
