Jimin wanted to tell Yoongi that he loves him, he truly did.
In fact he's spent the past month building up the courage to do so.
He finally decided he was going to say something three morning ago. It's literally been three whole days. It feels as if he's been wasting time.
Yoongi graduates in a month now, holy cow.
Jimin chews on his bottom lip as he peers out the classroom window. Its music theory and once again Yoongi's absent. Jimin's grown used to being alone in town for days at a time since it occurs so often. It's only slightly aggravating he will admit, because of course the day Min Yoongi decides to go back to Daegu is the day Jimin decides he's going to announce his love for the older.
It shouldn't even be a big deal, lmao did I really spend a month on this? I'm so stupid.
Jimin sighs as he sketches lightly on his notebook paper. Today the teachers instructed the kids to get to work and make sure they finished their projects before the talent show next month. The whole thing felt pretty stupid and Jimin hated how negative everyone was about it. He gets that everyone is just panicking and stressed but good god is it annoying.
The negative energy that fills this classroom is almost suffocating, he thinks with a smirk, ha that sounded poetic.
He sighs as he untangles his earbuds and shoves them into his phone. He isn't actually listening to anything but rather using them as a semi noise blocker/ 'don't talk to me'. He's well aware of how snappy he's been in the past few days and it's definitely because the lack of his boyfriend.
Jimin's glad and extremely grateful when the final bell of the day rings. Honestly, he hates the walk home in the snow and cold but would rather much be outside than in the stuffy classroom. Jimin's quick to pack his belongings up and slings his bag onto his back before ripping out his earphones and stumbling through the cold halls. Once he makes it to the parking lot it's no big shock to see it almost completely cleared out.
Had he really taken that much time?
Although his breathing hitches as he spots the familiar red car parked in it's usual spot. His feet move in a almost stomping actionbefore he can think. Once he makes it to the passenger side he was surprised as Yoongi leaned over and opened his door from the inside for him.
"You have a serious case of senioritis" the younger grumbles and receives a smirk from the older as he climbs into the passenger seat.
"Yeah, that's what its called" Yoongi laughs.
What? It is? In America seniors always skip, do you blame them?
"Whatever asshole at least give me a heads up next time" Jimin fakes being mad, somehow being around the love of his life magically washes away the feeling of anger or hatred.
"How about I make it up to you" Yoongi smirks as he draws his white lighter and a cigarette from his pocket.
"Finally gonna give me that smoke are we?"
The chuckle that leaves Yoongi's throat is deep and hoarse, his eyes clinching shut as he leans on the steering wheel to catch his breath. "No, never" he wheezes out before placing the cigarette between his lips and lighting it. Jimin frowns but is truly holding back a smile from the scene of his boyfriend right now.
"I meant spending the rest of the day together" Yoongi finally regains his cool as he puffs out a long breath of smoke. Jimin loved how at the end of days that they spent together like that his clothes would smell faintly of the older, and the scent of cigarette smoke lingers on his clothes and in his hair.
