"I hate you all," Mark scowled as he climbed into the booth.
"I love you too," Lisa replied with an evil smile from across the table.
"BamBam, where'd you find this place? It's so cute and cozy! I don't remember this café being here before I left!" Lisa then remarked as she looked around the warm restaurant.
The white walls gave the restaurant a sense of light but the hues of blacks, grays, and browns made a slightly cooler atmosphere. The restaurant was dimly lit by hanging lights across the ceiling, but large windows let in bright rays of the sun.
Likewise to his sister, BamBam's eyes were wandering around the café as well. However, BamBam was actually looking for something, or to be more precise someone.
He skimmed the café looking for an employee, having difficulties as the restaurant was fairly busy and crowded. Finally after scanning for a few more seconds, he sighed ready to give up until he heard a familiar voice.
"Hi, my name is Yoobin, and I'll be your server today— oh hi Mr. Tuan..." Yoobin stopped her usual greeting abruptly when she noticed her teacher at the table.
Mark smiled, realizing that this must be where Yoobin worked part time.
"Hi, Yoobin! I didn't know you worked on weekends too," he responded with a smile.
"Oh aha yeah. I've gotta keep my rent paid on time you know..." Yoobin trailed off awkwardly, clicking her ballpoint pen anxiously. "Anyways what can I get for you guys?"
Immediately, the three customers recited their orders, and the girl scampered away into the kitchen area.
"You know her?" Lisa asked, her eyes following the short haired girl run off.
"She's one of my students. I didn't think she would be working here," Mark replied before shifting his gaze suggestively to the boy beside him. "Did you BamBam?"
"Hmm what do you mean?" BamBam tried to play Mark's interrogation off, but even his sister knew something was going on.
"Oh come on BamBam! Even I saw you staring at our waitress. Do you like her~~~" Lisa teased her little brother.
"I do not!" BamBam retorted, ears flushed red.
"Don't worry, Lisa they're just friends... kind of," Marked added on tauntingly.
Furious, BamBam sent Mark a glare, telling him to 'Shut up.' Every vague thing Mark said would cause Lisa to assume more and more.
"Oooohhh~" Lisa squealed while BamBam dragged a hand down his face in frustration.
As the three of them screamed and bickered, they did not notice the café's manager walking up to their table.
"Hi folks! Your food is coming up soon. Is everything going ok— Mark? Lisa?"
