"So how are things at work?" BamBam asked as he and Yoobin crossed the street, their interlocked hands swinging back and forth.
"You asked me that question already," Yoobin laughed.
"I did? Sorry, I'm just a bit out of it." A faint red coated his cheeks, a sight Yoobin had grown accustomed to seeing over the days spent with BamBam. Although she didn't yet realize, her face was almost always the same shade around him.
"It's fine," Yoobin smiled. "I never knew you had an older sister."
"I mean I'd prefer you didn't," BamBam groaned causing Yoobin to laugh loudly. "She's such a pain. I'm sorry she was being so annoying earlier."
"What do you mean? She seems so funny!"
"No, trust me. She is the literal devil incarnate!"
Yoobin and BamBam's laughs rang out across the street. They were soon approaching Yoobin's apartment complex, and there was a part of BamBam that wanted to shift the direction of the conversation to a more serious topic.
"What about your sister?" he probed.
Yoobin's loud laughs instant dialed down into silent breaths. While Yoobin had only told the real life BamBam the vague details that she and her sister weren't getting along well, she had told "StrangerDanger" much more. And seeing as how he had the opportunity to get closer to Yoobin in a more personal connection, BamBam wanted to take the chance.
"Well you know it's the same. We don't talk much, and I haven't seen her in a while," Yoobin sighed.
"D-do you have any intention of making up with her?"
"I mean of course! But..."
"But?"
"Just not right now. I'm still angry, and I don't even think she even understands the real reason why I'm angry."
"Well why are you?" From BamBam's knowledge, Yoobin was angry at her sister for being foolish and staying with her boyfriend.
"I'm just... really disappointed with her. After everything we've been through together, it just really hurts that she would trust someone else over me. We've looked out for each other for so long, and then she chooses not to believe in me."
BamBam's heart clenched at how fragile Yoobin looked, her glassy eyes pointed towards the floor. Their hands had long stopped from swinging, and their lengthy strides had slowed to minuscule steps.
