March 31, 2018Nayeon giggled as she watched Yoobin walk away with BamBam in front of the café. She had at first been startled when the boy proposed his plan to her, but his sincerity made her want to help him as much as she could. Nayeon smiled as she organized the menus at the front desk before jumping up at the startling screech that rang through the restaurant.
Puzzled, Nayeon made her way to the back of the restaurant where the commotion was occurring. However, just as she slipped around the corner, she quickly took a step back as if she'd caught sight of a wretched cockroach on the tile floor. Hiding herself, she peered around the corner, trying to assure herself she wasn't seeing someone else.
"Sana...?" she whispered in disbelief at the girl at the table.
Her friend— or ex-friend looked the same as always: beautiful. The girl looked a bit more skinnier, perhaps due to working out and dieting as a model in Japan. Her face still held the same perfect visuals, although her pretty eyes this time were narrowed into angry slits, as she barked at the waitress through her perfectly glossed lips.
"What is this!? This tastes terrible!" Sana screamed at the trembling waitress, pushing her dish to the side; the ceramic plate clanging against her drink glass.
"I'm sorry Ma'am. If the food isn't to your liking, you could order another dish," the waitress, Arin, shakily proposed.
"Do you think I want to order more disgusting food from this place?"
A wave of anger started to surge up in Nayeon, as she saw Sana's mistreatment towards the young employee.
What is wrong with her?
Whipping out her phone she sent a quick message, before taking in a deep breath. Mustering up all her courage and confidence she would ever have in this lifetime, she began walking over to Sana's table just as the dissatisfied customer erupted in yet another scream.
"Where is your manager!?"
"I'm right here Ma'am," Nayeon replied calmly, as though she had no connection whatsoever to the woman in front of her. "What seems to be the problem?"
Sana's eyes flickered up at her past friend. An evil smile snaked onto her face as she changed her tone to a quieter, more malevolent voice.
"There seems to be a problem with your food here."
"And that is...?"
"It's terrible quality. I received good reviews about this place, only to see that the food here isn't anything at all. I demand a refund!"
