"Yugyeom stop taking so much food!" Jihyo scolded as her friend returned for the umpteenth time with a new plate of fruit and desserts.
"No, you stop and just let me enjoy the party," Yugyeom mumbled through his mouth full.
Before she could protest yet again, Yugyeom stuffed a chocolate dipped strawberry against her lips. Jihyo glared resentfully with half of the delectable sweet in her mouth. But Yugyeom only found the sight to be adorable, and had to resist poking another fruit at her.
"Ugh! My lip gloss!" Jihyo realized, quickly munching the strawberry down. "Mina is it messed up?"
So you finally remember me.
Leaned against the table with her arms crossed, Mina had been watching the two pathetically flirt for the entire reception.
Just before Mina could reply that she looked fine, Jihyo decided that she must have looked hideous. After throwing one last look of "hate" towards Yugyeom, Jihyo dragged her best friend to the restroom.
Surprisingly the restroom was empty, giving the girls an immediate chance to use the mirrors. With an attitude of indifference, Mina sat on the countertop. Turning her head to the mirror she watched Jihyo reapply her red lip gloss.
As Jihyo jabbed the stick back into the container, Mina sighed. "You know even if you put on another layer, Yugyeom is gonna say the same thing."
"What? That I look like I just ate a bag of hot Cheetos?"
"No you idiot! That you look super beautiful and he totally wants to kiss you."
Just moments from dragging the lip gloss stick across her lips, Jihyo's face contorted to an exaggerated image of disgust.
"And when has he ever said that?"
"His testosterone is practically emanating it 24/7."
"Shut up!"
"As if I would! Look, we're already in college and you two haven't made any moves what so ever! Do you really think the fact that he chose a college close to your university means nothing?"
"It's just a coincidence! Besides even if we're close we barely have any time to see each other... he's probably already found some girl there anyways."
