"Is my sister okay?" Yoobin asked the doctor who exited the patient's room. After coming home from work, she discovered her older sister passed out on the living room floor. When she found that Hyojung wouldn't wake up despite all her urging, she made a frantic call to Nayeon who immediately drove over.

"Don't worry, she'll be fine. But she fainted from excessive stress and exhaustion. She should rest for at least four or five days before going back to work," the doctor explained.

"Thank you," Nayeon and Yoobin said, and the doctor smiled in response before making a few more notes on his clipboard, and walking away.

Yoobin sighed as the doctor walked away, feeling guilty in her heart for not noticing how badly of a condition her sister's body was in.

Nayeon patted the younger's back. "You did nothing wrong. She's been going through a rough time."

A small smile flitted past Yoobin's face only to fade into an unconfident grimace. The two entered the room to see a pale Hyojung leaned back against the headboard, gazing silently out the window.

Yoobin took a seat on the bed near the window, while Nayeon stood off to the side. The silence was stiff as no one made any move to speak. The fragility of the moment made one want to tread carefully.

"You were right," Hyojung suddenly spoke, her voice nothing more than a whisper.

"I-I should have listened to you right from the start. He lied to me, and I believed in him. I should have never—" Hyojung's voice broke, tears seeming to overflow from a dam. Yoobin and Nayeon rushed to her side, comforting her with hugs and encouragement.

But she wouldn't listen at all, only continuing to murmur, "I'm sorry, I'm so sorry."

An unsettling feeling filled Yoobin's heart. She should have been happy that her sister was with her, and finally realized how much she had been wrong. But looking at her sister's completely broken and tear-streaked state, she could not ever remember being right feeling this bad.

"Binnie, can we talk for a sec?" Nayeon asked, as she locked the café door for the night.

"Of course," Yoobin answered, looking up confused.

"Well... Mark — your teacher — told me, you stopped taking extra lessons to catch up with school work. Is that ok—"

"I don't need them. I have straight A's." Yoobin resisted the urge to roll her eyes. She knew Nayeon was going to ask her about all the things about school that she didn't want to think about.
