Yoobin doodled in her notebook absentmindedly. Ever since her sister and her friends had that talk at the café there had been no problems at all. And once that troublesome couple finally decided all their petty arguments and misunderstandings were gone for good, Yoobin decided to move back into their condominium. This made Hyojung ecstatic and Jaebum even happier that she was giving him another chance.
But even though everything was finally getting better there was still something tugging at her heart. And despite how much she tried to bury it deep within, it would continue to surface and leave her with an aching longing.
Snap!
Yoobin jolted in shock as her pencil lead snapped off loudly. Sighing, she clicked the eraser end rapidly only to receive nothing. She shook the pencil up and down mercilessly trying to find out whether there was any more lead.
Trying again, she pressed her finger down, and the lead finally made up its mind to come out. Pressing her pencil back to the paper, her eyes unconsciously widened as she realized what she had been doodling the whole time.
Although she wasn't an art expert, she could immediately recognize the flowers with small round petals and short stems as pansies. Immediately her mind drifted off to the flowers BamBam gave her weeks ago. Despite how happy the memory had made her feel previously, it now was void of any cheerfulness it had before.
Wanting to avoid thinking of him at all costs she flipped to a fresh new page. However, when she put her pencil to the paper like she had before she just couldn't concentrate, and she began to continuously scribble over her lacking sketches.
"What's wrong Binnie?" Mina asked, trying to get a peek.
Suddenly, remembering that she was eating in her old classroom with her friends for lunch, Yoobin covered her notebook. "Oh, nothing."
Seeing that she was getting no answer, Mina pouted and sent an eye signal towards Jihyo and Yugyeom. They still didn't know what happened between BamBam and Yoobin, but nothing had been the same ever since. And in those weeks following Yoobin had become more withdrawn and they had seen BamBam less and less.
"Hey, guys have any of you seen BamBam today?" Mr. Tuan walked over with his clipboard to the table of friends.
"No." Jihyo shook her head.
"Sorry, I haven't seen him at all this week," Yugyeom replied.
"Again?" Mark muttered lowly. "That's almost two weeks of ditching."
