Your point of view

My boyfriend Simon and I were having a fight, again. This is the third fight this week alone. I'm not sure if we can work it out anymore but I wanted to try.

Until he says, "I can't do this anymore; I just can't."

"What do you mean?" I asked panicking.

"You're a warlock, I can't bear to have a fight every time someone or something from your past comes up. I don't like thinking that the closer I get to my 18th birthday means the closer I get to being older than you. I was a vampire once and, as much as I love you, I can't do it again." 

"If Alec and Magnus can do it why can't we?"

"We aren't Alec and Magnus."

"That's not it is it. There's someone else isn't there?"

"I was only with you because I lost my memory and didn't know any of my friends. Now I do and I'm getting to re-know Izzy."

"So that's it isn't it; this is the end. Well I say good riddance." With that he turned and left. I sighed knowing that this is the end.

After a few months I still couldn't get over him. I decided to go to Magnus for help.

"And that's my problem. What do I do?" I ask him.

"This is heartbreak my dear; I'm afraid that the only way to surpass it is to move on. He's all the way at the Academy; that makes it easier."

"Nothing makes it easier," I sigh. "He left me for Izzy, Magnus and I just... I just don't know what to do."

"There is one more thing we could do; but I don't know."

"What is it Magnus; I'll do just about anything."

"It's a anti-love potion; it makes you forget that you were ever in love with them. It basically erases their existence beyond friendship. You need a part of their soul but I can do that, if you choose to do this."

"I"ll do it."

"Are you sure; you won't just forget the bad Y/n, you'll forget everything about your relationship."

"I'm sure Magnus."

"Okay then."

After I left Magnus' I feel great; but I can't remember why I went there. Oh well it probably wasn't anything serious or I'd remember; I continue living life.

A few weeks later I run into Simon. "Simon!" I chimed before pulling him into a hug. He looks confused. "What's up? Why are you back from the Academy?"

"Well we have a two week break and I wanted to come tell you that I was wrong to break up with you."

"Break up with me? We were never dating. If I recall correctly the only girls that you have dated are Clary and Isabelle."

"We were dating for almost a year before I went to the Academy. Don't you remember?"

"I don't remember anything like that. Maybe we should get you to Magnus."

"Maybe we should get YOU to Magnus. Come on; let's go."

We walked to Magnus' where he pulled Simon away and explained. Simon came out looking dejected and left. 

"Would you like to go out for dinner with me?" He asks.

"As a date? Because I don't feel that way about you; I'm sorry."

"Oh that's totally ok."

"Bye Simon. I've got to get to the hotel to help Raphael."

"Bye." He gives a sad little wave.
