"But don't worry, I find it....adorable,"
The words echoed in my mind as I looked at the male with a deep blush. My lips twitched upwards hearing these words leave his mouth.
"A-Adorable?" I repeated embarrassed.
Hitoshi seemed satisfied with my reaction, and he nodded his head, "Yes, adorable. The scars," I hadn't realized he had moved his hand to my cheek until he ran his thumb over each bump, "Are one of the few things I love about you," He admitted.
Shock pulsed through my body. Was that his way of confessing? "Hito-"
His cheeks erupted into a deep shade of red as he realized what he said. He dropped his hand, and looked away quickly as he straightened his posture, "Sorry, Hikawa," He mumbled.
"You...you just..did you say.." I struggled to form a complete sentence as I looked at him. Not only where my cheeks red, but it spread all over my face and down my neck.
Hitoshi, on the other hand, was more calmer about this. Only his cheeks and ears being red. "I did," He confirmed, embarrassment in his time tone.
I stood up slowly, making him glance at me worriedly. I walked to him and wrapped my arms around his neck as best as I could, considering I was a good four inches shorter then him. He tensed for a second before slowly wrapping his arms around my waist.
His face was in the crook of my neck, and as we hugged I could feel a grin growing on his lips. Only seconds before my feet left the ground and Hitoshi began walked to an unknown destination. I squealed out in surprise about the sudden movement.
"H-Hitoshi! What are you doing?!" I exclaimed with a deep blush on my cheeks.
He looked up at me and shrugged, "To the spot I originally planned we go to," He responded smiling at me.
I tilted my head at him as he continued walking. Whilst he was walking, I took a moment to actually look at him. He purple eyes seemed white under the moon, which I found pretty damn cool. His skin was paler then usually, but that was okay. He looked very tired though, which wasn't really off about him. Hitoshi had a focused look on his face as he walked with me in his arms.
I smiled softly and rested my head against his shoulder and spoke, "My legs work, ya know," I glanced at him.
"Yes, I know, Hikawa. I..I just wanted to h-hold you," He mumbled, I could feel his cheeks burning against my arm.
I smiled brightly and ran a hand through his hair. It was softer then I imagined, really. My eyes widened as I shifted around to where both of my arms where free, I quickly placed my hands in his hair, enjoying the softness.
"What are you doing, Hikawa?" He asked, glancing up at me curiously.
"Petting your hair," I smiled at him, "I've always wanted to touch your hair," I informed proudly.
He rolled his eyes and set me down underneath a tree. I curiously looked around the tree, "Oh my god," I sarcastically began, "You brought me to a...a tree!" I deadpanned, looking at him.
"Idiot," He muttered, "Turn around," He ordered.
I poked my tongue out at him and turned around. Immediately I was in a state of awe. I could see the stars that carried out forever. Small little galaxies dotted the sky that could only be seen if you looked closely.
"W-Woah," I mumbled amazed, "That's really pretty," I informed, casting a glance towards Hitoshi.
The male had sat down between the trees roots, one leg propped up as he looked at me with a small smile on his lips. I quickly walked over to join him, kneeling down and sitting next to him. I stole a quick glance at him before moving his arm away from his side, and taking its place.
When I glanced back up at him, I could see his cheeks were red with embarrassment, but he adjusted himself to where he was in a comfortable position. His arm remained wrapped around my shoulder, but his fingers were messing with then tip of my tail.
I took in a deep breath before realizing something. I looked at him before shoving my face against his shirt and taking in a deep breath.
"W-What the hell are you doing, H-Hikawa?" He exclaimed, looking down at me with red cheeks.
I pulled away from him and smiled, "I know the cologne you're wearing!" I exclaimed happily.
"So you shove your face into my chest?" He questioned, a red hue on his cheeks.
I had no excuse for that. "That's besides the point," I informed, causing him to release a small chuckle, "You're wearing the cologne I got you last year," I smiled.
He smiled and nodded his head, using his free hand to rub his neck, "Yeah, well, I figured I should," He responded a bit awkwardly.

We sat at that tree talking for a while until he said that we had to go. I figured out that we were going to a restaurant. It wasn't an insanely formal restaurant to where we would have to dress as nice as possible or get a reservation, it was just a simple one.
I had my hand in his as we walked towards the restaurant and a smile on my face. My tail never seemed to stop swaying back fourth and we walked, occasionally it would tap Hitoshi's calf which would make the male believe I needed something.
"I'm glad we're doing this," I said, looking at Hitoshi as we walked into the restaurant.
"Me too," He responded as we were led over to a table.
Before I could sit down, Hitoshi quickly pulled my chair out for me. My cheeks reddened as I looked at him, "You going to sit or not?" He asked with a small grin on his lips.
My cheeks burned with embarrassment as I took a seat, in which he tucked it in for me. "Thank you," I mumbled quietly.
"No problem," He replied smiling. After a moment he sighed quietly and spoke, "Are you okay, Kaede?" He asked, looking at me seriously.
I tilted my head, "Yeah, why wouldn't I be?" I asked, smiling at him.
"That villain attack on Wednesday," He bluntly stated, "You said you got hit, are you okay?" He repeated his questions.
I paused and looked at him for a few seconds before nodding my head, "Yes. I had Tomiko with me," I replied.
He seemed uncertain but nodded his head, before he could say anything else, the waitress came over. We quickly told her what we wanted.
"Hikawa," Hitoshi suddenly said, catching my attention.
"Hm?" I noticed a forming blush on his cheeks as he fiddled with the napkin on the table. I couldn't help but smile at the nervousness I could feel coming from him.
"If this date ends well...say in about two weeks or so," He looked at me, "Would you like to go on another date?" He asked, cheeks and ears beaming red.
A bright smile grew on my lips and I immediately nodded my head, "Of course!" I exclaimed happily.
This time I was certain about it. I would definitely not mind going on another date with Hitoshi.
