Heavy breathing was the only thing that was heard on the empty field. Sweat dripped off the sides of my head as I placed my hands on my knees, doubling over to catch my breath.

I never realized how many advantages Rina had when it came to fighting. She could control anything involving plants, and she could easily trap her opponent. We had both landed a good amount of blows on each other, and we were both bleeding.

She had managed to knock me pretty good in the side of the head, so I was bleeding there. I could feel random cuts littering my face from her thorns or branches that she pulled from the ground.

Rina only had bleeding scratches ranging in all sizes. They weren't deep enough to leave scars though. She had four scratches stretching across the bridge of her nose and another set down her cheek. Her arms were covered in both bites and scratches.

"You do well, Kit," She stated, "And that was an excellent choice for a hero outfit. Considering the flexibility it gives you," Rina looked at me.

I straightened up and nodded my head in gratitude, "Thanks," I mumbled softly.

Rina smiled and spoke, "Let's get to my place so we can clean up and all that, and then we can go to the work place," She suggested.

I nodded my head, but before I could walk towards the direction of her house, a hand latched around my wrist. I turned my head to see Rina staring at me with a serious glimmer in her eyes.

"What's wrong?" She asked, sounding a bit impatient.

I looked at her and tilted my head to show my confusion, "I'm sorry?"

"There's something wrong, I can tell," She paused and frowned, "Have you been thinking about Stain's arrest?" She asked.

I stiffened slightly but shook my head, "My friends, more or less. The ones in the hospital," I informed, "I'm simply worried about them," I sent her a smile.

Rina looked at me before her hand went flying out behind me. I yelped loudly as she smacked the back on my head.

"H-HEY! WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT FOR?!?" I yelled angrily.

"Stop worrying so much, mid. Ever since you got here your ass has been running up the walls with worry! If you're gonna be a hero you can't worry so much!" Rina scolded, sending me a sharp glare.

I scowled at her, "SO YOU HIT ME?!"

Rina grabbed my car ear roughly, causing me to yelp out in pain as she began dragging me in the direction of her house. "R-Rina! Y-You're hurting me!" I yelped, and she released her strong grasp on my ear as we entered her house.

"Go shower and dress in some civilian clothes, we're going to the hospital," She informed.

"Huh?! Why?!" I exclaimed.

"We're going to go see you're friend,"

When the week ended, I was actually sad. I slung the back over my shoulder and looked around the room with a frown.

"I'm gonna miss this place, ya know," Tomiko stated, "Even the brat," She grinned a bit.

I knew that over the week, Honoka had grown on Tomiko and now Tomiko was like an older sister to the girl. It was amazing really.

"I'm going to, too," I replied as I walked out the door.

Rina and Hiroto stood in the living room. Both of them actually looked a bit sadden. As soon as we got into the area, Honoka threw herself at Tomiko and hugged her tightly.

"Please don't leave!" She cried.

I immediately cringed seeing the snot bubbling out of her nostrils. Tomiko rubbed her back comfortingly,"Don't worry kid," She smiled, "I'll stop by every now and then," She paused, "If your parents let me,"

"Of course you can, Miyamoto," Rina stated smiling, "It sure is going to be quiet without the late night giggles from Hikawa or your nervousness,"

My cheeks flushed as I looked at Rina. She heard me laughing at some things Hitoshi had said? After saying our goodbyes, Tomiko and I parted ways.

My hands were shoved deep into the pants that I was wearing as I silently walked down the sidewalk. I don't know how long it was before I heard a familiar voice greet me.

"You look rough,"

My head snapped upwards seeing the familiar purple headed male that I loved. A bright smile grew on my lips and I launched at him, wrapping my arms around him tightly. Hitoshi stumbled back slightly but hugged me.

"I missed you so much!" I exclaimed, looking at him.

Hitoshi pressed his lips to my head before speaking, "I missed you too," He murmured.

I pulled back and looked at him, taking in every little detail of his face. His cheeks gradually turned a deeper shade of red as he looked at me, confusion flitting across his face.

"Is there something on my face?" He asked.

I simply shook my head as I looked at him, "No, I'm just paying attention to the man I love with all my heart," I stated rather bluntly.

His eyes widened and his ears turned red as he turned his face away from me, rubbing his neck. I smiled softly and reached upwards. I wrapped my arms around his neck, forcing him to look at me and smiled.

His lavender eyes scanned my heterochromic eyes. I tugged him closer towards me and pressed my lips against his in a much needed kiss that was long overdue.
