A small sigh escaped my lips as I realized we had gotten to my apartment. Hitoshi pulled his phone from his pocket and turned it on, the light illuminating his features as he checked the time. A slight grin grew on his lips as he showed my the time. 9:49 PM.
"Seems we made it on time," I murmured quietly.
Hitoshi looked at his feet for a second before catching my gaze, "I guess so," He mumbled.
I looked at him for a good moment before speaking, "I, uhm, I had a good time tonight, Hitoshi," I informed smiling at him.
His cheeks briefly flushed a pink colour as he smiled a bit sheepishly and rubbed his neck, "I'm glad," He replied looking at me.
A silence came between us, and Hitoshi looked as if he were contemplating something. "Are-"
A gasp left my lips when he suddenly grabbed the back of my neck. A second later, his lips were pressed against mine a bit roughly. My eyes widened and my cheeks went multiple shades of red as I processed everything that happened.
Before I could do anything, he pulled away with brightly coloured cheeks, "I-I'm sorry," He mumbled, "That was really unexpected," He chuckled lightly.
I smiled softly and I looked at him, my eyes rounded as I looked at him, "It was nice," I bluntly informed.
Hitoshi looked at me, shocked by this statement, "What?" He questioned.
"It was nice," I repeated, feeling embarrassed.
He smiled at me, obviously proud, but after a moment he sighed softly, "You should get inside," He informed quietly, "Before your dad and brothers lose their minds," He began to turn around until I spoke.
"Hitoshi," He looked at me and I sucked in a breath before throwing my arms around his neck. I brought him down closer to me and pressed my lips against his own.
He froze for a good moment before his hands found their way to my hips and he pulled me closer to him as he kissed me back. The kiss didn't last as long as I certainly wanted, but we both need air to breath.
Hitoshi looked at me, a smile on his lips as he caught his breath, "You're not a bad kisser, Kaede," He informed.
I blushed at the compliment, "Thanks, Hitoshi," I mumbled.
Hitoshi placed his hands on my cheeks, making me look up at him as he delicately ran his thumbs over the scars. After a moment, he leaned down and pressed a soft kiss onto my lips. It wasn't a long kiss, but it gave me time to kiss him back before he pulled away. "Goodnight, Kaede," He spoke quietly before stepping away. He once again began to head down the staircase until I summoned up the courage to speak to him.
"Hey, Hitoshi. Can I ask you something?" I asked quietly, watching him turn around.
"You just did," He teased, "But go ahead,"
"D-Does this mean we-we're a couple?" I asked, heat rising to my cheeks as I looked at him, obviously embarrassed by my own words.
Hitoshi's cheeks turned red as he looked at me for a moment before looking away. "I guess it does," He informed smiling at me.
I practically beamed at this, "W-Wow, so you're like my boyfriend now," I mumbled.
Hitoshi chuckled quietly and spoke, "Yeah, and you're my girlfriend," He replied.
"Goodnight, Hitoshi. I'll talk to you tomorrow,"
"Goodnight, Kaede,"
With that, we both turned around. I walked into the apartment. All the lights were off except the one coming from the TV. "You're exactly one minute late," Shin'ichi's voice made me cast a glance towards the couch, where he was sprawled out. He sat up to look at me, "How was it?" He asked.
I smiled, "It was wonderful, now, I'm going to take a shower," I informed.

The next morning was boring. It was the usually routine. Eat breakfast, fight over who gets to brush their teeth first, and then the other's went out to do different things. Masaru and Shin'ichi had gone out most likely to creep on girls. Natsumi and Junko went out with some of their friends, and Rei was with Dad at work.
Bzzz. My phone buzzing grabbed my attention and I turned it on, seeing a text from Hitoshi.

I sighed quietly and rested against the couch. About fifteen minutes later, a single knock sounded on the door. I grumbled quietly and walked over to said door and pulled it open. I was immediately greeted by a tired looking Hitoshi, and I quickly allowed him into the apartment. He took his shoes off at the door.
Neither one of us said a word as he walked towards the couch and sat down on it. I quietly walked over to him, sitting down on the opposite end. I leaned forward and tugged him towards me, he reluctantly moved to where he was laying down. He had his arms wrapped around my waist and his head resting against my tummy.
I had moved my legs around to where the one on the outside was laying down completely, but the one pressed against the cushions was bent upwards. My hands combed through his purple hair as he laid there quietly. I found myself worried, he was usually more willing to talk.
"Hitoshi?" I mumbled quietly.
"Hm?" He looked upwards at me.
"What happened?" I asked.
"My Mom wants me to go back on medicines," He infofmed.
We both knew that not even medicines would work for Hitoshi. He just never seemed tired, and when he did sleep it was never for long. Hitoshi hated the medicines, and he stopped taking them a long time ago.
"And your dad said you don't need it because you're like him?" I guessed the rest. It wasn't the first time his parents had arguments involving medicines.
He simply nodded his head with a small sigh leaving his lips. I sighed softly and spoke, "Come on, you need to properly lay down," I mumbled, pushing him off of me.
I stood up, pulling him up with me and walking down the hall towards my bedroom. There were a total of four beds in here. A bunk bed for Natsumi and Junko, and a single bed for Rei. I had my own full sized bed, and it surprisingly wasn't crowded.
I crawled onto my bed and scooted towards the wall. I tugged Hitoshi down next to me, his cheeks going red as I took his jacket off of his body and pulled the blanket over us. I looked at him and spoke, "You're tired and stressed, you need to sleep," I informed.
Hitoshi wrapped his arms around my waist and pulled me closer to him, his hand brushing a strand of hair from my face. "Only if you stay," He whispered quietly.
I smiled and nodded my head, "Of course," I informed.
Before I could turn my back to him, he leaned over and pressed a soft kiss to my lips before pulling away and allowing me to turn around. His arms were still latched around my waist as I was pulled close to him, my tail draping around his waist as well.
