The two weeks went by unusually slow, and now that the Sports Festival had began, I couldn't help but he trembling. I shifted in the P.E outfit, tying the top around my waist with a deep sigh.

Tomiko grinned as she looked at me, "Relax, Kaede, you'll be fine," She assured me, but she wasn't doing so hot herself either.

I could see that we were both in similar positions, her arms shaking madly and her breathing came out quick. Me? I was shaking and practically dying.

"Shut up, Tomiko. You're not doing to well either," I snapped, crossing my arms over my chest.

She chuckled quietly and shrugged, "Yeah, I'm dying a little on the inside," She stated bluntly, "Knowing that many pro heroes are going to be wat-"

"You certainly know how to make things better for the both of us, Tomiko!" I exclaimed, picking at the fur on my tail nervously.

Tomiko laughed sheepishly, "S-Sorry, Kaede. I'm just nervous," She informed.

My heart started racing in my chest as we walked out, I found myself in a state of shock at the surronding crowd. I shoved my arms deep into the pockets of the pants and forced a smile onto my lips, watching Tomiko force a neutral expression onto her lips as she placed her hands behind her back.

"Oh this is nerve wrecking," I whispered out quietly.

Tomiko grinned and nodded her head, "Aren't you nervous," She began, "About the possibility of fighting Sachiko?"

My face paled, not once had that even crossed my mind. I could feel a tingling situation in my cheeks and I glanced at her with wide eyes, "D-Do you really think that's gonna happen?" I gasped out nervously. A low groan left my lips, "Oh my god. I can't do this. I can't fight her," I whispered.

Before I could turn tail and run off, Tomiko grabbed my wrist and looked at me with a serious expression, "Don't say that, Kaede. Do whatever it takes to get her ass to the ground,"

It all happened way to quick for me to even grasp. The speech, and then this. Villain Robots everywhere I looked, and not once did I see Hitoshi. Tomiko and I had decided to work together on this one, seeing as we were both close.

"Goddamn it!" Tomiko snapped as she was narrowly able to dodge the Robot.

"Yes, use the foul language to defend yourself because clearly it works," I deadpanned, sending a look of amusement.

"Shut up and get towards the top," Tomiko snapped, kneeling down.

I sighed and ran towards her, allowing her to propel me into the air. I had gotten accustomed to the feeling of static beneath my feet after she did this, we practiced this move a lot during the two weeks we trained. We pushed each other to our limits for this.

We had reached two amazing heights, one the height she threw me and the height she could go. Needless to say, this move still scared me.

To actually be able to get to the end of the robots, it involved a lot of throwing, biting which hurt like a bitch, scratching, and jumping. Finally, I landed on the ground with a heavy thud and sighed, wiping sweat off my brow.

"Its still not over yet, Kaede," Tomiko murmured, "Two things. I can't use this anymore or I'll go dumb, and your boy looked shocked after that jump,"

My cheeks were already red, but reddened with embarrassment at the mention of Hitoshi. At least he was here. Worst case scenario, we fought each other. Best case scenario, we didn't.

The Fall wasn't that hard, sure I slipped a few times, but I made it across. I stared at the Land Mine Field slightly distraught.

"Just go to cat form and cross it. You'd be closer to the ground, so you'd notice the differences in the ground. Besides, you'd be short and nimble," Tomiko informed.

I released a small whine, she was right. Caving in, I turned to my cat form. She wasn't wrong about being able to spot the differences, but I could also hear them with my ears. They'd turn every which way detecting the slightest noise.

I was successful in crossing the Land Mine Field and the line. I was placed in 20th place, it wasn't the best, but it was something.

I shifted back into the usual form and striaghtened my arms outwards with a small smile on my lips. I saw Hitoshi look at me momentarily and our eues met for a second. I sent him and small smile before I felt a hand being placed on my shoulder. I turned around curiously to see a very muscular male standing in front of me.

"Hey," His voice sounded as if he'd been smoking all his life, "My name is Abe Ryuji, and uh, we need you on our team," He informed.

I blinked at him before looking towards his other team, I looked at him and smiled brightly. "Sure! Who's gonna be the captain?!" I questioned.

"You," A girl with really long hair informed. What happened next put me in a state of shock. Her hair waved at me, "My name's Yoshimori Hinata," She introduce, "This is Kurosawa Hikaru, he's a mute,"

"O-Okay," I mumbled.

After we got our headband, I placed it around my neck and found myself in the hands of three people. Literally. "A-Are you sure you're okay with this?" I asked, a blush on my lips, "I-I must w-weigh a-"

"You're light as a feather for us, Hikawa," Ryuji informed, "Don't worry,"

I nodded uncertaintly about the subject, feeling self-conscious as they shot off running. We had barely managed to keep our headband, but we did snatch a few others, putting us at 539 points. We were in fourth place.

Now it was the break, I laid on the ground, not really caring if I got stepped on or dirty. A shadow hovered over my and I opened my eyes to see Hitoshi standing over me.

I immediately stood up and looked at him, "H-Hi!" I greeted with a warm smile.

He had a slight grin on his lips as he looked at me, "I didn't know you could actually turn into a cat," He spoke while rubbing his neck.

My cheeks flushed red, and I rubbed my arm, "Oh. Yeah, I can. I kind of figured you already knew that though," I blushed.

He shook his head before pulling me towards him, "You feeling okay?" He asked, "You look half dead,"

"I feel half-dead. I mean, those Robots really did a number on me," I informed while grabbing my tail.

Hitoshi wrapped his arms around my waist and pulled me close to him, I rested my head against his chest as he spoke, "You and that Miyamoto girl really make a really great team. I also saw that you met Abe," He murmured, referring to Ryuji.

"He sounds like he's been smoking all his life," I replied.

Hitoshi laughed at this and before he could say anything I heard my name being called.

"Hikawa!" I turned to see Mashirao approaching, "What are you doing with him?" He asked, sounding annoyed.

I glanced at Hitoshi who seemed slightly annoyed. "Talking, why?" I asked confused.

"He might-"

"Why would I use my quirk on my girlfriend?" Hitoshi asked, glaring at the boy.

Mashirao seemed slightly stunned but he looked directly at me and spoke, "You're dating him?" He questioned.

My cheeks flushed and I nodded, rubbing my neck, "Y-Yeah! Uhm, I think almost about a month now!" I smiled brightly.

Mashirao soon left us alone and Hitoshi spoke, "Its really almost been a month?" He looked down at me slightly surprised.

I smiled a bit and nodded my head, "Y-Yeah, next Thursday I believe," I replied.

Hitoshi blushed slightly and spoke, "Well damn," He mumbled, "How about we go on a date then?" He questioned.

My cheeks reddened and I buried my face into his chest, hiding the blooming blush on my cheeks. I nodded my head and spoke, "That sounds great," He mumbled.
