I woke up feeling a soft fabric laying on top of my body and me laying on someone. I furrowed my brows and looked up, seeing Hitoshi sleeping.
I slowly recalled the memories from last night and sighed quietly, laying my head back down on his chest. I listened to his heart softly beat against his chest, making a small smile grow on my lips.
After a while of listening to his heart beat, Hitoshi moved around, a small groan leaving his lips. I looked up just in time to see his eyelids open, revealing his purple hues. For a brief moment a look of confusion gathered on his face as he looked around.
I smiled a bit seeing the rather cute look on his face as he searched the living room. Finally he looked at me and realization crossed his features. He frowned slightly and moved around to where his arms had wrapped underneath my arms and pulled me up closer so I could look at him.
"You feeling any better?" He asked quietly, running his fingers through my hair as I laid my head on his shoulder.
"Yeah," I whispered softly, "Only because you're here," I finished, wrapping my arms around him.
Hitoshi pressed his lips to my forehead before dropping his head against the couch once more, moving an arm to out behind his head. "What happened?" He asked, glancing down at me.
I hesitated to speak. "I remember the teachers finding me," I mumbled, "I just...I don't want to talk about it," I quickly stated, moving to hide my face in his chest.
Hitoshi began running his fingers through my hair, a soft sigh leaving his lips as he looked at me. I didn't meet his gaze as he used his other hand to rub my hip. I finally decided to look at him, seeing a concern look in his eyes.
"Babe," I began, "We've already discussed the amount of kids we'll have after high school and their genders, but what about names?" I asked curiously, changing the topic.
Hitoshi looked at me in shock at the question, the furrowed his brows slightly. "I just woke up, Kaede," He smiled, "Give me a damn chance to wake up before asking me those questions," He stated.
I smiled and nodded my head, laying it back down on his chest. After a while of laying there in silence, Hitoshi spoke.
"Yasuko for a girl, and Souma for a boy," He informed quietly.
I looked up at him with a small smile and nodded my head, "I like Souma," I replied, "I was think Hayate for a boy and Fuyumi for a girl," I said.
"Fuyumi?" Hitoshi repeated.
My cheeks flushed slightly and I sent him a playful glare, "Yes," I confirmed, "Fuyumi means beautiful snow," I shrugged.
"Not necessarily in that order but yeah, true," Hitoshi chuckled and pulled me on top of him, brushing my bangs behind my ears.
He stared at me before reaching behind my head and grabbing a hold of the band that held my blonde strands back in a ponytail. He tugged at it until the hairs on my head were released and sent tumbling down over my shoulders. I saw a please smile gather on his lips as he looked at me.
"In stead of me having to play with only the lower half, I can now play with all," He joked, running his fingers over my scalp, "You should wear your hair down from now on...its cute,"
My cheeks reddened as I looked at him, a smile tugging onto my lips. I shook my head and buried my face into his chest. I could feel the vibrations in his chest as he chuckled.
"I mean it, Kaede. I like it when your hair is down," He informed.
"Stop," I whined, sitting up.
The movement caused his hand to be removed from my head. I quickly crawled off of him and stood to my feet, stretching tiredly. Hitoshi looked at me, a smile on his face. I looked at him curiously.
"What?" I asked, dropping my arms as his eyed raked across my figure. I shifted, feeling slightly self conscious underneath his gaze.
Hitoshi finally looked me in the eyes with a grin on his lips as he spoke, "I'm just curious," He stated.
I tilted my head, "About..?" I questioned.
Hitoshi's cheeks flushed pink as he sat up, looking away from me. "Well, to start with," He glanced at me, "I want to know how the hell I got so lucky with you," He informed, making my cheeks reddened.
"We-"
"I'm not done," Hitoshi quickly cut me off with an embarrassed glimmer in his eyes, "I'm curious about how you'd look pregnant," The bluntness of his words made my cheeks redden.
I stared at him, unsure of what to say about that. I opened my mouth to say something, but nothing came out. Hitoshi noticed this and a smirk gathered on his lips.
"Seems like I just made you speechless," His teasing voice met my ears, "That's a first,"
"Sh-shut up!" I whined, covering my face in my hands.
Hitoshi grinned before standing to his feet. He walked over to me and gently pried my hands from my face, leaning down and pressing a kiss onto my lips. I smiled softly and kissed him back.
After a moment we pulled away and he spoke, "Do you have any of my clothes here?" He looked at me.
I nodded my head, he had left some pairs of clothes here whenever he'd stay over, and I'd taken the liberty of washing them and hanging them in my closet. "Yeah, I'll go get them," I informed, "We going somewhere?"
"Yeah, just on a stroll. I hear there's a festival in town," Hitoshi replied, following behind me.
As I approached my room, I spotted a note on the door stating that Dad had taken the girls to Granny's and Masaru was with Shin'ichi. I pushed past the door and walked straight to the closet. After a moment of digging around, I pulled out one of Hitoshi's shirts and the pair of pants he left.
I tossed them towards him, watching him catch them. "I'll be out in a moment," I told him as he walked out.
