0.8 - late night talks

[JOEY STANFORD]

It was like 3am. I was wide awake. Just staring out my window. I couldn't sleep. I had so much on my mind.

I got a text. Who the hell is texting me at 3am? I thought to myself.

3:14am
Daniel: hey
Daniel: u up?

3:15am
Me: sadly
Me: wyd

3:15am
Daniel: totally not standing in your front yard.

What the fuck? I looked out my window. And sure enough he was sitting in my front yard.

3:16am
Me: my god child.
Me: be down in a second.

I giggled at his spontaneity. I threw my hair up into a messy bun and quietly went downstairs and out of front door.

"Daniel Seavey" I whispered catching his attention. "Yup" he smiled at me like a goof.

"Why are you at my house at 3am?" I tilted my head. "I needed to see you." He stood up.

"I see." I grinned at him. "I wanna go on a walk with you." He requested. "Okay"

We walked around the dark park for a while. "Shit this is scary." I said quietly. "It's not that scary." He brushed it off.

"Can I get on your back?" I begged. "Sure" he said stopping.

I hopped on his back and wrapped my arms around his neck. He smelled really good. 

I mean, most attractive guys smell good but Daniel, smelled better.

I felt myself feeling an emotional attachment to Daniel. I think I was really starting to like him.

I laid my head on his shoulder. "Let's go to the field." Daniel said walking into a very dark field.

Joey and I laid down in the field and just stared at the stars. "This is nice." She whispered.

"Yeah" I replied.

Joey and I laid there in the cold dark field talking about life until the sun came up.

It was already 6am before we noticed.

We got up and I quickly dropped her off at her house. "Goodbye Joey." I said hugging her. "Goodbye Daniel." She said wrapping her arms around my neck.

"I'll text you later." I smiled releasing from the hug. "Okay" she smiled nodding her head.

I walked down her driveway with a huge grin on my face remembering last night. I feel so happy whenever I'm around her.

I walk into my house and close the door with a huge smile on my face. It was completely silent in the house.

I felt so happy. Butterflies were still going crazy inside my stomach.

I went into the kitchen and made myself a breakfast smoothie.

Mango, strawberries, bananas...

I put my headphones on and blasted Hooked as I danced around the kitchen with my smoothie.

"Every single place we go you start a fight, but then you kiss my neck and take a bite." I whispered twirling around.

I took a sip of my smoothie.

I danced to the song on repeat for like 10 minutes until I bumped into jack. "Hooked huh?" He smirked.

"I mean can you blame me? It's an awesome song." I said disconnecting my Bluetooth.

"Thanks Joey" Jack said.

"Your welcome." I smiled. "So...any boys in your life yet?" He asked. "Nope." I said pretending to think about it.

"Are you sure? Because if there is, you can tell me." Jack said seriously. I felt so guilty.

"I'm sure. Do you wanna go to the beach today?" I asked changing the subject.

"Yeah sure." Jack said. "Okay. Be ready by noon." I said walking upstairs.

I took my hair out of the bun it was in and hopped into the shower to wash off all my guilt.

As soon as I got home I dived into bed and crashed. I was so tired.

My bed suddenly felt more comfortable that it ever has before. I slept like a rock. That was until I was woken up 2 hours later at around 9am to my phone ringing.

It was jack. Oh no. Did he find out?

I quickly answered it. "Hello?" I said. "Hey Daniel. I was wondering if you and Anna wanted to come to the beach with Joey and I." Jack said.

"Let me see with Anna real quick." I said muting it and going to Anna's room.

I gently knocked on her door and opened it. "Hey James." She said softly. "Hey bug. Jack was wondering if we wanted to go to the beach with Jack and Joey." I said.

"Sure" she replied. I unmuted it. "Yeah we'll come." I said.

"Okay. Be ready by noon." Jack said before hanging up. "Be ready by 12 Anna." I said walking back to my room.
