2.6 - skates

I'm laying in mine and Daniels bed when Daniel suddenly comes in our room and closed the door.

I'm laying on my back.

Daniel comes and just lays on top of me. But not completely because you know I might actually suffocate.

He held himself up a bit with his elbows. I move my phone away from in between our faces.

"Whatcha doing there sparky?" I asked softly. "Falling more and more in love with you as the seconds go by." He whispered.

I stared into his deep blue ocean eyes. "That was deep." I whispered.

Daniel suddenly pressed kiss lips onto mine. Kissing me passionately. Sending chills down my spine.

I feel butterflies in my stomach as he intertwines his hand with mine.

I give all my strength to push him over so now I'm on top of him. I straddle his waist and Daniel sits up a bit.

I continue kissing him happy that I'm in control.

His hands travel up and down my waist as I run my fingers through his hair.

I was sitting on the couch watching hockey. Can you believe that?

Canadians actually watch and play hockey.

Zach came into the room "Jack what's it like being a poodle?" Zach asked. "What's it like stealing my heart?" I asked as he sat down next to me.

I looked at him. He looked at me.

I started to lean in. I began to feel my heart race. My hand floats to the side of his head for security.

Shit. This is another first guy thing for me. First time kissing a guy. Well damn.

We're just inches apart when Corbyn walks in. "Oh shit sorry. I always seem to walk in at the wrong time. But go Jachary." Corbyn apologized saying the last part quietly.

Corbyn walked into the kitchen. "Let's get ready for our date now." I whispered and got up from the couch.

Zach followed me into our room.

"So where are you taking me?" Zach asked. "Ice skating." I smiled. "How? It's August." Zach replied.

"Don't criticize our date, Zach." I teased him. "Sorry" he laughed turning to his closet. I went into our bathroom and changed into something warmer.

I put on a pink toque (as they would call in Canada) and pulled my hair back.

I pulled on a Nike windbreaker over my hoodie and walked out. Catching Zach's attention he turned around.

"Damn." He mumbled studying me. "Like what you see?" I smirked. He laughed it off.

"You ready to go?" I asked walking past him. "Yeah." He said trailing behind me. "Let's go then" I smiled as I opened the front door.

"Are we walking?" He asked. "Yeah. It's pretty close. But we're stopping at Tim Hortons first because I've never tried it." I said to Zach.

We begin to walk down the road. You could see the water through the trees.

"Sounds good." Zach said smiling at me.

We get to the top of the mountain on the ski lift and hop off.

Zach and I walk towards the entrance and grab some skates. We go into the dressing room and attempt to put on our skates.

"Jaaackkk" Zach whined. "Whaaatt?" I mocked him. "I need help with my skates." Zach said desperately. He was making this adorable face that I literally couldn't resist.

I felt butterflies.

"Yeah sure." I chuckled a bit. I kneeled on the ground in front of where he was sitting and tied his skates.

"Thanks Jack" Zach said blushing a bit. "No problem." I smiled at him. Zach stood up in his skates and so did I.

Zach stood taller than me.

"Ha you're short." Zach teased. "Hey!" I laughed pushing his shoulder a bit. Zach just chuckled a bit.

We walked out into the rink and began skating.

The next morning I woke up next to Daniel. He had his arms wrapped around my torso pulling me close to him.

He looked so peaceful when he was sleeping.

I kissed his nose waking him up a bit. "Daniel" I whispered. "Hm?" He said with his eyes still closed.

"I love you" I laughed a bit. His eyes fluttered open. "I love you too, beautiful" he replied with his raspy morning voice.

We just looked at each other for a couple seconds before Daniel said, "I could get used to this."

"What?" I asked. "Waking up next to you every morning." He replied. "Me too." I smiled.

"Hey do you know where Zach and Jack went last night?" Daniel asked. "No idea." I replied.
