2.4 - annoyance and nervousness

"We're going to Jasper." Corbyn said as he entered the kitchen. "What?" We all say in confusion.

"Well I just thought since we've kind of all drifted apart a bit..." Corbyn says eyeing Jack, Zach, and I.

Everyone goes to Corbyn with their issues and I guess this was his way of solving this one.

I knew Jack was mad at me but I didn't know what his issue with Zach was.

"...so I thought we should all go on a trip together and bond a bit." Corbyn explained. "And no ones backing out because I already bought the tickets." Corbyn grinned.

He handed out our tickets. But there were six. Not five.

"Why is there six?" Jonah asked. "I thought Joey should probably come too, due to some desperate forgiveness needs." Corbyn said eyeing Jack once again.

He rolled his eyes.

"We leave tomorrow at 10am so start packing." Corbyn finished before leaving the kitchen.

It was my idea in the first place to go to Jasper. I felt bad for everything that happened. Plus I've always wanted to go to jasper.

I was pretty much done packing because I would pack my toiletries tomorrow morning.

I heard a knock at my door. I go and answer it to see the one and only Emily. "Hey Emily" I smiled.

"Hey. Can I come in?" She asked. "Yeah sure." I said opening the door wider for her to come in.

"So um, what happened yesterday?" Emily asked. "Jack found out about Daniel and I, and he did not take it very well. He looked heartbroken." I explained as we sat on the couch.

"I heard some of it go down. It sounded like he was on the verge of tears." She said. "I think he was." I said quietly.

"I feel so bad keeping it from him." I said covering my face. "It's okay Joey. He'll understand, you just have to talk to him." Emily said comforting me.

"You think so?" I asked uncovering my face. "Yeah" she replied softly. "Well we all leave for Jasper tomorrow morning so I hope that'll help a bit." I said.

"Yeah. Talk to him then. He can't be mad at you forever, can he?" Emily asked. "No. Jack and I are so close. But that's probably why he was so upset." I said sadly.

"It'll all work out, Joey. I promise." She smiled.

"Okay" I returned the smile.

I meet the boys at the airport the next morning and they look miserable.

"Aww why you guys so grumpy??" I teased. "It's too early" Zach whined. "Oh my goddd you'll be fine." I chuckled a bit.

Jack smiled a bit a Zach when he said that but quickly faded.

"Hey Joey could I talk to you?" Daniel whispered. "Yeah what's up?" I asked as Daniel pulled me away from everyone else.

"So since Corbyn, and now Jack knows about us, I think it's only fair that we tell the rest of the boys" Daniel said. "Okay. When? In Jasper?" I asked.

"Yeah I was hoping so." Daniel replied. "Okay." I smiled. "But Tyler can not know." Daniel said seriously. "Why?" I asked.

"Because he's the one trying to keep us apart." Daniel replied. "Well alright." I said.

We walked back to the boys and Jack was in a daze. Thinking deeply.

I was so confused with my emotions. I knew I liked Daniel but Zach's starting to look a lot cuter every time I look at him.

I mean come on. Zach's freaking adorable.

They call our flight and we head to security. We get our seat numbers and attend the flight.

Me, not paying attention to anything, sat down in my seat not realizing someone was next to me.

I jumped at the sight of them. But this wasn't just any person. It was the one and only Zachary Dean Herron.

And even worse, Daniel and Joey were in the seats across from us. Daniel on the inside of the isle because that's just my luck.

"Oh, hey." I smiled awkwardly. "Hey." Zach replied the same before looking out the window.

I looked down as I twiddled with my fingers. My heart was racing. I was so confused. I had so much going on inside my head.

I wanna like Zach but I still like Daniel.

How did I not notice Zach's undying love for me?

I need to get over Daniel.

Zach's really cute.

I'm freaking out right now.

Until my thoughts were interrupted. "Jack are you mad at me?" Zach asked. I looked up from my hands. "No." I said softly.

"I'm sorry if I ruined things between us. It wasn't my intention." Zach said with regret in his voice.

"You didn't ruin things Zach. I just need some time to get my feelings in order." I said looking back down at my hands.

"Okay." Zach said still studying me but looking away after a couple seconds.
