2.0 - rain

It had been a couple days since Daniel took me on our date.

I was at the boys' house hanging out. It was getting pretty late. We all knew I'd be staying the night.

We were all in the basement watching a movie and I had decided to go up and grab some food when I noticed a huge storm outside.

I love storms.

All the lights in the house were turned off. I was immediately I was drawn to the windows.

Lightning lit up the sky. Thunder shook the window sill. I watched the rain fall. I just stood there.

I was so intrigued that I didn't even notice Daniel come up behind me. "What're you doing, Joey?"

"Watching the storm" I said softly. I watched the lightning strike through the sky. "You like storms?" Daniel asked.

"I love them." I replied. "Let's go sit on the front step." Daniel said grabbing a blanket. He lead me outside onto the step and we sat down.

He wrapped the blanket around us and we watched the rain. I loved everything about the rain. The sound, the smell, the feelings of it. All of it.

Daniel had his arm around me. I was so relaxed and happy.

We stayed like that for a while.

I watched as the rain fell onto the ground. Almost as if every raindrop was in sync. I was mesmerized.

After about a half hour of sitting outside we decided to head in. We walked in the door and Daniel kissed me out of nowhere.

I smiled. He pulled away and smiled at me. "Mine." Was all he whispered.

"What just happened?" We were startled by Corbyn who had just caught us.

"Uh um oh my gosh Corbyn." I stuttered not knowing what to do. "You-you can't tell anyone that you saw us." I said walking up to him.

"I won't. Are you guys like...a couple?" Corbyn asked. "Yeah." Daniel and I looked at each other.

"Since when?" He asked. "Well it was made official about a week ago." Daniel replied. "But we've been 'a thing' since the beginning of July." I said.

"Wait woah..." Corbyn said shocked. "Please don't tell anyone." Daniel said. "I won't. I won't." Corbyn replied.

"Okay." I said.

The next morning I woke up on the couch in the basement. The boys nowhere to be found. I got up of the couch and walked upstairs.

"Morning sleepyhead." Jonah said. "Morning." I smiled looking at the boys in the kitchen.

"We're going out tonight. Wanna come?" Jack asked. "Depends on where" I replied.

"Well, we got you a fake ID. So we were gonna go clubbing." Jack replied. "Ooooh is Why Don't We rebelling?" I asked teasing them.

They all chuckled. "Do you wanna come or not?" Corbyn smiled. "Sure. Why not?" I smiled.

"Okay. Be ready by 10 tonight." Jack said.

"Alright." I grinned sitting in a chair. "Oh and you'll be needing this." Zach said handing me my fake ID.

"Thanks." I chuckled reading it.

Daniel came and sat next to me as the rest of the boys left. "Better not be feeling up some other guy." He whispered, teasing me.

"Jealous much?" I replied teasing him back. "Only for you." He replied, looking deep into my eyes.

"Wanna come over?" I asked. "Sure" he smiled.

"Okay. Let's go then."
