1.7 - IKEA

[DANIEL SEAVEY]

We're sitting across from each other on the air mattress on our phones when Joey sets down her phone and looks out the windows.

She's quickly drawn to them and walks over. I get up and turn the lights off. The apartment had a view of downtown since it was up so high.

It was around 10pm so the sun was down and all you could see was city lights.

I see her eyes light up as she's looking outside. "It's gorgeous." She said in awe. I walked up so I was behind her.

"I know right." I said as Joey fiddled with my hands until they were intertwined with hers.

I wrested my chin on her shoulder and we stayed like that for a while. It was like something you would see in a movie.

But this was my real life. Happening.
Joey turned around and put her arms around my neck.

I snaked my arms around her waist. "Thank you." She whispered. "For what?" I asked. "Just. Thank you." She said laying her head on my chest.

We rocked back and forth for a minute.

"You tired?" I asked pulling away a bit to look down at her. She nodded her head. "Let's go to bed then." I said taking her over to the air mattress.

We both got all comfy in the blankets. I had my arms wrapped around her and she nuzzled her face into the crook of my neck.

"Goodnight Joey." I whispered kissing her head. "Goodnight sparky." She whispered half asleep.

Sparky?

Was that a nickname? If it was I loved it.

I took the hair out from under her neck so she would be more comfy. Anna always hated when her hair scratched against her neck.

I felt my eyelids begin to feel heavy and I soon fell asleep.

I woke up the next morning next to Daniel. I looked at him for a couple seconds before smiling.

He began to show signs that he was awake and I quickly pretended to be sleeping. "Heyy, I caught you." Daniel said with his super hot and raspy morning voice.

I giggled and opened my eyes. "Were you watching me sleep?" He asked with a grin. "Maybe." I smiled. "You're a creep." He laughed.

"I know." I laughed laying on my back. "So what're we doing today?" He asked.

"You tell me. You're the one who wanted to take me on a date today." I smiled. "Oh yeah." He chuckled.

"Don't you need furniture for your new apartment?" He asked. "Yes actually I do. Would you like to come on the journey with me?" I asked turning so I was facing him.

"I would love to." He smiled.

"Daniel!" I whined at him hiding from me in ikea.

"We need to find me a couch!" I said. There was no one around where I was. I felt a presence behind me then someone move the hair from my neck and kiss it.

"Guess who." They whispered. I turned around to see Daniel. "You scared me." I said trying to be mad.

"I know." He whispered pulling my hips against his. I smiled at his actions.

I wrapped my arms around his neck and kissed him. It was a sweet passionate kiss.

It lasted for a couple seconds before we pulled away. "Should we find that couch?" He asked.

"Yes we should." I smiled.

Began searching for a couch that would fit the apartment. I was thinking grey or white since the walls were a dark grey.

We searched around picking up a couple other items here and their to decorate.

I also needed some cutlery and plates and stuff so we got that and I made sure I held them because Daniel would've dropped them and I would have to buy a set of broken plates.

We ended up finding an L-shaped couch that was white. (Basically Logan's couch).

I ordered it and paid for everything else.

"Where were you guys?" Corbyn asked as Daniel and entered the kitchen where the boys were. It was around 2pm

"IKEA." Daniel replied.

"And you didn't invite us?" Zach asked pretending to be hurt.

"Yeah why didn't you invite us?" I said acting like I was pretending to be hurt but really was jealous.

"Oh trust me. There'll be more ikea trips considering you guys are reckless and will probably break everything within 6 months." Joey replied.

"That's true." I laughed. "But, do you guys wanna come over and help decorate and fill my apartment?" Joey asked. "Yeah" Jonah said.

We all agreed and we went on over.
