2.5 - iM sOrRy

The flight consisted of Daniel and I watching movies, reading, and trying to make each other laugh with dumb dad jokes.

The flight was just over 3 hours but Daniel made it feel like 1 hour.

We landed in Edmonton because there aren't any airports in Jasper. We got off the plane, collected our luggage and since we didn't wanna drive another 5 hours we decided to take the shuttle to Jasper.

So that was boring.

We finally arrive at the cabin that I had rented for us and the boys looked in awe.

If you've ever been to Jasper you'll know what I'm talking about but for those of you who haven't, it's gorgeous. It's basically what Canada is all about.

It's got mountains, gorgeous clear lakes, there's amazing glaciers to see, and must I say that the food there is to die for.

Canadians are doing it right.

The cabin was at the edge of the woods over looking the gorgeous water.

We all unloaded our bags and picked our rooms. "Joey I'm with you." Daniel said following me into a room. "Obviously." I chirped.

Our room had a balcony going looking out to the back. Daniel was immediately drawn to it.

"Woah..." he said looking at the water. "I know right? I went on a school trip here and I thought coming here with all my favourite people would be unforgettable." I smiled at him.

"I love you." He said grabbing ahold of my face and pecking my lips. "I love you too sparky." I giggled.

"Uhh guys?" We heard someone call followed by laughing.

"What?" I asked following their voices. We found Corbyn and Jonah in their room standing in front of a sex swing that was in their closet.

"What the hell?" I start laughing. "You tryna lose your virginity this week, Joey?" Jonah asked still dying of laughter.

"No I swear. I swear I had no idea this was here when I booked our stay." I said getting super red yet still laughing.

Laughing at how funny this was but also laughing in embarrassment and nervousness.

"How about we uhh, close this." Corbyn said closing the door. "Great idea." Daniel chuckled.

So 'coincidentally' Zach and I ended up sharing a room. There were three rooms all with king sized beds.

So great, I'll be sleeping next to Zach for a week.

We were unpacking our clothes. He had the closet and I had drawers. We were on opposite sides of the room.

Dead silence.

"Look Zach I'm sorry." I said turning around to him. "What do you mean?" He said facing me.

"I feel like it was unfair of me to confuse you and play mind games with you." I ached. "No Jack it's alright. I understand." Zach replied sympathetically.

"I feel bad for leaving you hanging and making you think I don't like you." I said taking a step towards him.

I paused for a second. I took his hands in mine. Both of us now looking at our connected hands.

"I like you, Zach." I said softly. I looked up to see a huge smile on Zach's face. "Really?!" He said with excitement.

"Yeah." I said giving him heart eyes. "But what about Daniel?" He asked. "I'll be over him after tonight." I smirked. "Why? What's tonight?" Zach asked.

"I'm taking you out." I grinned.

"Hey Jack can I talk to you?" Joey said coming into the kitchen where I was. "Yeah sure whats up?" I asked with a smile.

"I just wanted to say I'm really sorry that Daniel and I didn't tell you sooner. I know how hurt you were." She said with sorrow.

"It's alright Joey. I'm completely over it." I smiled. "What?" She said confused.

I grinned. But at the same time my heart was racing.

"I liked Daniel." I said. "What??" She said shocked but at the same time grinning.

"Yeah but then I realized that you two were together and kinda stopped." I said saying the last part more quietly.

"How could you just stop liking someone like you just flipped a switch?" Joey asked unconvinced. "Shhhh" I grinned walking out the kitchen.

Leaving her with many questions.

I went into my room and got onto my laptop to look for places to take Zach.

I decided on ice skating since we're in Canada. And I know you're probably thinking,

Jack how could you go ice skating if it's summer??

But since the mountain tops still get pretty cold there's a skating rink built into the side of one of the mountains.

(A/n I don't believe this is true I just made it up but just go with it)

I could not wait for my first date with a guy.
