1.9 - waterfall

We got in his car and he started it. "Boyfriend." Was I could say. "Are you okay with that? Being boyfriend and girlfriend?" Daniel asked.

"Yeah. Totally." I smiled getting a huge amount of butterflies.

He pulled out of the parking garage and we drove off.

During the drive I got even more butterflies at Daniel singing 'say you won't let go' by James Arther to me.

"And you looked over you're shoulder, for a minute I forget that I'm older, I wanna dance with you right now..." he sang looking over at me.

I blushed and giggled softly.

We began to drive out of town. Daniel still singing to me. It was adorable. I just wanted to kiss him so bad.

He stopped near a forest. "Here we are." He said getting out. He went to the backseat and grabbed a backpack.

"Where exactly are we?" I asked. "I'm not exactly sure. But I know this place. I've been here before." He said.

"Comforting." I said sarcastically. "Come on Jo. Don't worry. It'll be awesome." He smiled at me.

"Okay." I gave in and we began walking.

The sun started to go down and I was getting worried that we were lost. I held his hand as if I would die if I didn't.

"D-Daniel. Are we lost?" I asked worried. "No babe, we're following that orange tape to a place I love." He reassured me.

"Okay." I nodded. We ended up in a tunnel with the only light being Daniels flashlight.

I started to hear the sound of crashing water. As we came closer the sound got louder.

I looked up at him confused. "You'll see." He whispered as we kept walking.

He lead me to a gorgeous waterfall pond type thing. We were on a cliff looking down at it.
"Daniel, this is gorgeous." I said super excited.

"My family and I would always come here whenever we visited California. And I've been in love with it ever since." He said.

"You're amazing, sparky." I said giving him a hug. He kissed the top of my head before we pulled out of the hug.

"Well, are we gonna go in?" I said excited.
"I-I didn't bring a bathing suit." Daniel stuttered.

"Neither did I." I said taking off my top. "Alrightly then." He chuckled taking off his shirt.

We were now in nothing but our undergarments standing on the ledge. "Are you ready?" Daniel asked.

"Yeah" I replied. I held his hand. "Okay. 3...2..1!" Daniel said before we jumped into the clear blue water.

The water came over me making me feel weightless.

Daniel and I swam back to the top out of breath. "Hey, the water matches your eyes." I pointed out.

"Do they?" He asked. "They do." I confirmed.
"So do your boxers." I pointed out his baby blue Calvin Klein boxers.

"Hey, we're twinning!" He said. I was wearing the grey Calvin Klein set.

"We are!" I said gasping. "I guess that makes us an official couple." Daniel said swimming closer to me.

The spot we were now in, we could touch the bottom. We were chest to chest up against the ledge of the pond.

He caressed my cheek and kissed me intensely. Fireworks lit up inside the same way when we first kissed.

Tingles came through my body as we kissed. Our lips moved in sync. I felt Daniel smile through the kiss.

We pulled away to catch our breath. I stared at him for a couple seconds before thinking,

Holy shit. I think I love Daniel.
