"TOMOE! LET'S PLAY under the rain!" You yelled over to your familiar, who was silently watching you under the shrine's roof.
"No. Get back here," he replied in his usual flat tone, accompanied by a deadpanned face.
"You're going to get sick."
You laughed at his statement, sticking out a tongue towards your familiar.
"Me, get sick? You underestimate me," you replied, stomping on tiny puddles, jumping to the next afterwards.
Tomoe could only heave out a sigh, not even bothering to look back before returning back inside, leaving you alone amidst the heavy rain.

"Tomoe! I feel so bad," you cried, plopping down onto the shrine's perfectly polished floor with a thud.
"Serves you right," he retorted, shooting you a sharp look. "You were ignoring my commands like a child ignoring its' mother."
You looked away from him with a pout. "I just wanted to have fun, that's all." You reasoned, getting up from the floor. You sat on your knees with a glum expression on your face, watching as Tomoe work in the kitchen.
You were burning hot, your nose was clogged, and you felt extremely cold. You crawled your way towards your futon, snuggled up under the warm sheets.
"Oi, don't sleep yet. You have to eat," Tomoe called, glancing towards your direction sideways.
"I know. I'm just trying to warm up." You sniffed, watching as your familiar come back with a steaming bowl of soup in hand.
Tomoe stooped down to his knees, pressing his forehead against yours, checking your temperature. Letting out a sigh, he brought the bowl of soup closer, staring at you silently with a slight frown.
"Um, is there a problem?" You asked, feeling uneasy towards his silent gaze.
"I'm trying to think if you can drink this without my help," he replied in a nonchalant tone, not even bothering to notice the annoyed look on your face.
"I was planning on going out to get a few more things for supper."
You frowned at the fox familiar, grabbing the bowl of soup as you took tiny sips, careful to not burn your tongue.
You let out one huge sigh, placing the now empty bowl at the table, looking at your familiar with a victorious smirk.
"Ha! I did it. Now stop treating me like I'm some helpless baby," you said, sticking out your tongue at your familiar.
Tomoe closed his eyes. "If that's the case, then I'll be on my way," he mumbled, leaning over to you as he pecked your forehead gently, causing you to turn a lot more red than you already are.
Tomoe smiled, staring at your eyes directly, holding a confident look.
"I'll promise to make you feel better, (Y/N)."
