YOU WERE WAKEN up from your peaceful slumber by the gentle tapping of Mey-Rin's fingers against your shoulder. Now, you'd normally be snappy enough to dish out a rude statement towards the person despite your soul screaming for you to close your eyes again, but since it was the dorky maid who dared to do so, you couldn't bring yourself to offend her in any way. She was way too sweet so instead you just stared back at her wide, circle glasses as quiet as a mouse. After all, she 'acted and fussed like a mom when it comes to everything about you', quoted by a pissed-off Bard during lazy day.
"Look at you lass," she shook her head in disapproval, but her lips were formed into a smile. "Sleeping soundly like it's Christmas Eve." She wagged a finger and placed the other on her hip like a mother scolding her child.
"Sorry, Mey-Rin," you apologized, unable to stifle a yawn. You rubbed your eyes to rid of the remaining urge to plop back down and continue snoring, and was luckily greeted with a bunch of pretty rays from the early sun with the color of fresh honey. This brought a smile to your face and immediately got you on the mood to fulfill your daily duties. It was a lovely day after all; perfect to do nearly everything under the orders of the noble Ciel Phantomhive.
"Bard needs us to set up the table he does," the lady says, eyeing you as she tied her frilly apron into a neat bow and straightening it afterwards. "Better take a shower as fast as a hunted rabbit. Did you stay up late last night?"
"No, I slept well," You grumbled, shaking your head as you make a beeline for the shower after folding your blankets into a messy square and sliding them under your stiff pillow. "Thanks for worrying, Mey-Rin."

"Sebastian sir," you call out to the butler after seeing him check up on you in the garden like he did everyday. Sebastian grinned as usual at the sound of your voice and fixed his attention to you in the span of a single second.
"May I ask something? If you don't mind,"
"Why of course," replied the dashing man with an enthusiastic lilt in his voice. "What is it, my dear? Need help with cutting thorns from the roses?"
You shook your head. "Not quite, sir. Something appeared at the back of my ear last night. It looked like a mark of some sort; a pentagram. I don't know what to do."
His crimson eyes lit up from slight surprise. Arching his brows a little into a focused scowl, he leaned closer to your ear and inspected the said mark printed on your skin. His gloved fingers ran small circles around it in an attempt to discover something about the cryptic-looking symbol. Maybe it would light up if he provoked it hard enough, but then again he was doing it on a girl — the more he thought about it, the more he wanted to do it less. He didn't want to be thought of as a perverted servant. That'd bring endless shame to his title as a sophisticated butler of the Phantomhive lad.
"Hmm," he hummed, scratching his chin in curiosity. He pulled his fingers away from the girl's delicate ear, leaving her looking up at him with wide, anxious eyes. Even though the situation was serious, he couldn't help but crack a chuckle at the adorable sight. "I think I have an idea on what this may be, and it's best to not touch it so much."
"W-Will it go away?"
"Why yes," he cooed in his usual butler voice. "Give it some time, and it'll fade. Don't worry about it too much, darling, everything will be alright."
